You have ZERO IDEA what you're talking about and it's completely obvious. As a former DESIGNER of PCR equipment I find your ignorance distressing.
1
The Greek alphabet has 24 letters.... there are already 31 variants being tracked by WHO.

1 out of 50 children who come down with covid will be damaged for life. 20% of those will be so damaged they're unemployable.
1
@stephengreen9720 Those are the facts. The claims that covid doesn't kill children is from the days before the Delta. It's different now. It also ignores the fact that if it doesn't kill you it may disable you for life for take anywhere from years to decades off your lifespan.

@stephengreen9720 Stop displaying Dunning-Kruger. Have you takes any university level virology courses? I listen to many hours a week of credentialed virologists, immunologists, and epidemiologists discuss the research a month before people like Campbell reduce a 134 page paper to 14 words and a checkmark here. It's absolutely sickening that doses are going to waste in the US as others are wanting them.
1
This is completely psychotic. Fluvoxamine destroys your capacity to reason. My respect for J.C. is now officially zero.
1
@vickit3124 Have some horse paste.
1
@seti48 You like being racist. China, the nation, had nothing to do with it and the delta variant didn't come out of China. Not only are you racist, you're not even as sharp as a marble.
1
What a clownish ramble of complete lies and imbecilic fallacies.
1
@davemonday5381 Are you seriously this much of a clown? You have an exemplary case of Dunning-Kruger going on there.... absolutely exemplary. You're either a paid troll or you're doltish and overly self assured.
1
What's wrong is your display of Dunning-Kruger. You can't judge things you don't understand the first thing about.
1
FAKE NEWS is all you have. Obviously NOT lab made.

This is data I just copied from NextStrain's Clade Frequency chart using GISAID's database: Europe: Clade 21K (Omicron) 63%, Clade 21L (Omicron B2) 3%, Clade 21J (Delta) 32%, Clade 21I (Delta) 1%, Clade 21A (Delta) <1%. He says Delta is 'gone' but GISAID says 1/3 of submitted genome sequences contain Delta. Those are the big 5 in Europe right now. Check for yourself and never trust stats from unqualified people like Campbell who is not a virologist or an immunologist and gets virology quite wrong. TWiV is the virology show they watch on the International Space Station.
1
@originalkk882 You want to be pedant? OK, They contain 3831 base pairs isolated from the ancestral variant which encode the trimer protein sandwiched between a 5 prime and a 3 prime untranslated region with 7-methyl-guanosine caps. The trimer proteins are not part of the nucleocapsid protein and are external to the replication mechanics of the virus so therefore I would consider them to be lumped in with the membrane and envelope proteins as the packaging wrapper that transports the nucleocapsid protein in the host. You adding in "(of the original Wuhan version)" doesn't mean anything really because of hypersomatic mutation via enzyme activation-induced cytidine deaminase. That AID process in your lymph nodes will produce up to 10^6 variations of the sequence to protect you from that many potential variants. The trimers are absolutely part of the wrapper and not the nucleocapsid protein.

@scottwales9178 In the US data >99.99% of fatalities are in unvaccinated people, and COVID has secondary effects such as IMPOTENCE and DIABETES that we're just gathering data on now. No vaccine known has produced bad results after 60 days that didn't show those same bad results before 60 days. Total Vaccine Doses Administered as of now: 4,578,314,034. If there were issues, they would be known. Remider: it's not "personal choice" to decide to stop at stop signs or stop lights, or to decide whether or not to dump carcinogens into drinker water supplies.
1
@petes3305 Wow... The irony is epic with you. I used to design and build PCR machine guts, and consult for Genentech and Codon, and I've spent multiple hundreds of hours listening to virologists and immunologists discuss the molecular aspects of covid, and you're telling me how this stuff works? LOL! Einstein, the whole point is to use the most targeted 3831 base pairs and to leave out the extra baggage from the 26,072 base pairs that don't help fight off the propagation mechanism which is also the infection mechanism. You are clueless about the subject matter, you tell me I'm expressing Dunning-Kruger effect and then you proceed to put the Dunning-Kruger effect on full display. Well done! Well done! You project so well that you should be in cinema!
1
@Lightnings Take a university level course in virology. Your academic doctor here is a nurse and not a virologist. He has misled you time and time again. He has misframed the information for you and misled you about what is actually important because.... he is not a virologist or immunologist and he has limited understanding of what he reads, and just DOES NOT UNDERSTAND VIROLOGY. If you want to take a university level virology course, Columbia Professor of Virology Dr. Vincent Racaniello is giving his course away as a series of lectures on his channel. Microbe TV or This Week in Virology will lead you to him. He's overly qualified to speak on virology. Campbell botches it regularly and is a talking head reading things he found on the Internet.
1
@PapaVikingCodes Did your mommy tell you that? I would be embarrassed to repeat something so ignorant in public.
1
@cannonball8885 I see your dewormer is kicking in.
1
@cannonball8885 Reminder: Ivermectin is a dewormer made for pigs, ostriches, jackasses, and sheep. Oh the irony.
1
@cannonball8885 DEWORMER doesn't work on VIRUSES. 🤣🤣🤣 Clown. They should only sell Ivermectin with proof of gelding.
1
Viruses ALWAYS mutate. Unvaccinated people are virus mutation FACTORIES. COVID is an RNA virus and not a DNA virus. RNA viruses have mutation rates on the order of 1,000,000 times higher than the host cells they infect.
1
@alexcamron7446 Clown troll.
1
@johnlopez3996 Why are you giving speculation instead of doing something as simple as a search for "marin county teacher covid diagram" which would allow you to speak authoritatively about the FACTS of the case rather than rambling about hypotheticals??? 5 students per row; 5 rows. 1st row entirely infected. 2nd row, 4 out of 5 tested and 3 of the 4 infected. 3rd row, 1 of 5 infected. 4th row, 4 out of 5 tested and 1 of the 4 infected. Row 5, 2 of 4 infected.
1
@johnlopez3996 FORGOTTEN??? That makes it much worse. (1) As a former California teacher, I have never heard of a layout which places 12 students in the front row or ANY row. (2) I'm 1000 miles away but I was able to find the correct answer using authoritative data in less time than it took you type your post. (3) You claim to have forgotten about a diagram showing a typical and standard layout and somehow spend a bunch of energy hypothesizing about something that doesn't exist and to my knowledge has never existed. 🤦♀️

If you want to address his professional knowledge with the appropriate title of respect, Nurse Campbell is correct. He is not a medical doctor but seems fine with people thinking he is one. He's a Nurse, he's not a medical doctor, he's not an immunologist, he's not an epidemiologist, and he's not a virologist. Do you listen to car mechanics for advice about cooking dinner? People need to stay in their lane. Credentialed virologists regard this channel as the blind leading the blind.
1
@seantaylor2637 Stop deflecting. You should know it's fraud to misrepresent yourself as having professional qualification you do not have. You should also know Campbell is not a doctor of medicine and is not qualified to speak professionally on virology, immunology, or epidemiology. Will you deflect further over that simple indisputable fact? You like to be fooled apparently. You don't care about being misinformed by people who don't fully understand what they're "explaining"? I have a bridge for sale....
1
@marcdavis2840 Here I am with knowledge and experience, and there you are with worthless trolling.
1
Reliable? No. Here he says Delta is basically gone but NextStrain using GISAID data reports that Clade 21J Delta accounted for 21% of cases in North America in the most recent dataset. He's wrong. All available data and curve fitting math says Campbell is completely wrong. Try listening to actual experts with actual qualifications. Anybody can read things they found on the Internet. This place is a misinformation goldmine. Listen to actual virologists. TWiV is the virology show they watch on the International Space Station.
1
@idaneromi4205 This is data I just copied from NextStrain's Clade Frequency chart using GISAID's database: Europe: Clade 21K (Omicron) 63%, Clade 21L (Omicron B2) 3%, Clade 21J (Delta) 32%, Clade 21I (Delta) 1%, Clade 21A (Delta) <1%. Those are the big 5 in Europe right now. Check for yourself never trust stats from unqualified people like Campbell.
1
@idaneromi4205 33% of the genomes being sequenced in Europe are DELTA and you're so pompous and lacking knowledge you just told me that Omicron had eliminated Delta because you believed the lie you were fed by an unqualified non-professional who misread statistical data. For Europe it's 33% Delta. North America has 22% Delta. Africa has 21% Delta, Asia has 33% Delta, and Globally Delta is 29% in the GISAID data. My molecular biology is from Columbia. Where is your training from?
1
@idaneromi4205 You are Dunning-Kruger in action and don't understand the statistics you are repeating. Do you have any idea what GISAID is? On January 10th, 2020 the first full genome sequence of SARS-CoV-2 was was posted on GISAID and then download by BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson&Johnson who created the first vaccines from that data. Campbell makes the same neophyte errors and neither of you have any qualifications in genetics, molecular biology, virology, or immunology. Real data from the 24th says 7% Delta in Sweden with Norway at 8%. Finland's last data submission shows 24% Delta on January 10th. Clearly it's not gone.
1
@nobodysbaby5048 Long haul data probably won't be available for a couple months, but it's been bad enough with all the other variants. No reason to believe so far this will be terribly different from Beta but it's too early to guess.
1
@crenaud590 Sample size of 1 with unconfirmed data is USELESS. People are being reinfected multiple times. Vaccine conferred immunity is superior for variety of antibodies, quantity of antibodies, and longevity of antibodies. You clearly have no qualifications in immunology or virology.
1
@jimmoses6617 No, they are not. No. Not even close. Roughly 50% of "Common colds" come from multiple rhinoviruses with the rest coming from a couple coronaviruses, adenoviruses, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), parainfluenza virus types 1, 2, and 3, and influenza A and B viruses.
1
@michaelhutchins1844 You are completely insane and thick as a brick. DELTA KILLS KIDS.
1
The vaccines ATTENUATE the spread GREATLY according to data we have on vaccinated populations. Vaccines generate large amounts of antibodies in the nose and throat which attack the virus on its way in or out of a human. Vaccinated people get over the illness in far less time so they don't have opportunity to spread as unvaccinated people do. Vaccinated people MAY be able to spread but the science isn't in yet about just how much; Few things are 0% or 100% in life. You're asking the wrong questions.
1
@thesouluniversal Go away, little boy.
1
@smallfootprint2961 I listen to ACTUAL credentialed virologists. Dr. Vincent Racaniello, Professor of Virology from Columbia University produces multiple shows every week under the title "This Week in Virology" or TWiV, on Microbe TV. He's also giving away for free his Columbia virology course as a series of lectures online. See You There! Right?! Will I??? Will you actually show up for virology class or are you just talk? BTW: I used to consult for Genentech, Medtronic, the UCSF Hospital, and others and while I am not a credentialed virologist, I watch Campbell blow it constantly in his analysis.
1
@inertiakreepz756 LIES! ALL YOU DO IS LIE!
1
@keywee849 IS A FAKE TROLL ACCOUNT.
1
3rd day of Omicron? Hardly. TWiV reported on this 4 days ago and the first case was reported on November 8th. GISAID is already tracking 121 sub-variants of Omicron.
1
It's unfortunate you place so much trust in the mistakes you hear Nurse Campbell make without knowing it. You should remember he's not a medical doctor, he's not virologist, he's not an immunologist, and he's not an epidemiologist. He's made so many errors that real virologists regard this channel as the blind leading the blind. I'm an engineer in the BioTech sector who used to build controllers for PCR machines and not a virologist, and Campbell's virology knowledge base is even more limited than mine. If you want to actually learn about virology, you'll find credentialed university professors discussing it on This Week in Virology (TWiV).
1
@suew000 Being misinformed isn't useful. You do know it's professional misconduct to represent yourself as holding professional credentials you don't hold. In the US it's a criminal offence to do so. If you want to be helped through the jargon, rely on people who understand virology, not those who misrepresent themselves as understanding virology as they get it wrong over and over.
1
@suew000 You can hold a doctorate in French film or in animal husbandry. He's not a medical doctor but he constantly infers he is qualified as a medical professional to speak about virology and immunology while he is absolutely not qualified. If you trust people who mislead you, you WILL be mislead.
1
@optimalreadiness WRONG. My bookkeeper just had COVID and was saved by monoclonal antibodies. She was in a protective coma for three weeks. Even after that her disease induced protection wanes after 3 months and she will need an mRNA vaccine or face getting it again. The mRNA vaccines confer a MUCH BETTER and LONGER LASTING immune response than natural infection does. You are either deeply uneducated or purposefully lying; perhaps both.
1
@optimalreadiness 99.2% of covid deaths in America are in unvaccinated people. 99.2%. Unvaccinated people are the petri dishes that spawn new variants of the virus. Unvaccinated people are keeping the pandemic going just like heaping kindling on a fire and are MAKING THIS PANDEMIC SURGE now. If this is difficult for you to figure out, then how do you manage to chew your own food?
