If you take away the bitcoin user base, the value of bitcoin drops. So if all the user base from bitcoin switch to bitcash, the value of bitcoin drops while the value of bitcash rises. It wouldn't be so much of a problem if the value drops and rises 1 to 1. The problem is it doesn't. Say bitcoin is trading at 10k per coin at the time of the fork. When the fork happens, logically bitcash should be worth 0. When more user switch from bitcoin to bitcash the value of bitcoin drops while bitcash rises. but that rise of bitcash and the fall of bitcoin is not in a 1 to 1 ratio or even uniformed. People like Ver here makes tons of money from the rise of bitcash, and those that don't pay close attention to the fall of bitcoin will lose most of their value.

  35. well for the self defense argument, a fetus is considered a life. It's a life that's attacking the host, so the host can defend against it via abortion. For late term abortions, every effort has to be made to keep that fetus alive. But you can even make an argument that for late term abortions the self defense argument doesn't apply more because you have waited for so long, you essentially already consented to have this parasite living inside of you. For the self defense argument, when you found out you are pregnant, you have the choice to abort or consent right there and then. You don't get to make that choice later, unless it's in the event of health complications.

But most don't feel good to give out their hard earned money. It would make me feel good when I give a few dollars to some homeless guy and having him thank me profusely than giving to an organized charity, which I will never get any thanks. Also, a rational selfish person would not risk their lives to save a stranger. The risk/reward is just not worth it.

I would say that those people who are currently giving to charities are not being rationally selfish. They are being unselfish. As for charities thanking the donors, well that is a second hand thank you, if you want to be rational, why would you want to buy a second hand thank you if you can buy a first hand thank you? To be rational selfish, I would have to make the calculations is the risk of my own life worth saving this person that I don't know. The answer is always no in a rational way. The emotion of empathy overwrites rationality, that is why people who risk their lives are not being rationally selfish. They are being unselfish.
