@rodt9779 They are not points against Evolution, Evolution is a fact, the Theory of Evolution explains those facts. Pretty much everything you have raised is a misconception based a religious framework.
1
@rodt9779 What arguments for god? I missed that
1
@rodt9779 Send me the link, the claim about Dinosaur flesh. The one about foot prints was just more creationist nonsense, debunked years ago.
1
@rodt9779 If flesh could be preserved for millions of years I would be astonished but that would be a question for the physiologists and chemists. It would not impact on the theory, why would it?
1
@rodt9779 I looked into NDE and these seem not to be generic culturally but do physiologically. So same feelings but seeing Mohammed if you are Muslim Jesus if you are Christian. This tells us these things are from within not without. Our mind makes up scenarios like dreams.
1
@rodt9779 A good guide for whether something is real not is to go look for it in a respectable Scientific journal, in the peer reviewed literature, otherwise you can assume it's just creationist nonsense.
1
@rodt9779 I don't trust anecdotes, I trust controlled studies, Scientific studies. People claim to see Elvis Presley alive, aliens all sorts of weird nonsense. This is why we use the scientific method to establish what is true and what is not.
1
@rodt9779 Forward the actual citations
1
@rodt9779 Send me the link of dinosaur flesh related to the journal it was published in, otherwise I will assume it is jus more creationist BS
1
@rodt9779 Well no Rod this is something you still don't seem to get, if it isn't published in a peer reviewed respected journal I can discount it. Science works on scrutiny and peer review by experts. This is how we find flaws in methodology or any other part of the study. A yt post or FB claim I can discount.
1
@rodt9779 Just send me the actual citations
1
@rodt9779 No, I mean send the SCIENTIFIC citation. No one repeated the results.
1
@rodt9779 Look Rod I am only giving you the benefits of my 30 years using the scientific method, research my degree but clearly this is not enough. Rather than wasting your time on YT PROVE to me you are interested in the truth. Does the truth really matter to you? What is real, does that matter? If Science and the truth matter go to physics forums it is FREE of charge. You will find me on there as pinball1970. I describe myself now as a technologist NOT a scientist. I am not a professor and do not have a doctorate only a first degree. On physics forums they have Medical Drs, research scientists, college professors in ALL fields. They have forums from everything from Cosmology, QM to Medical and Earth Sciences. So you have to ask yourself a question, do you want the truth?
1
@rodt9779 So Rod......your call.
1
@rodt9779 That is not how Palaeontology works! Who told you that??? It's not 'just looking under a microscope!' These guys are specialized anatomists, skilled in geology and other disciplines. What do you think university is Rod seriously? Just a few books and ivory towers? Get a biochemistry book out of the library and start reading it see how far you get. Try chemistry, physical chemistry that explains radioactivity and radioactive materials and decay. THAT is how they date fossils precisely, one way. They examine the stratum the specimen was found in as well as the fossil itself.
1
@rodt9779 Are you afraid to visit physics forums? We have been discussing this for a month, it will take 5 mins
1
@rodt9779 So the question stands, I will ask again, are you interested in the truth?
1
@rodt9779 Ok Rod that is good, I will not attempt to answer any question you put. God discussions are not allowed so try and keep him out of it! What is the biggest question for you? That we did not evolve from monkeys?
1
@rodt9779 And we do ok now how much material was, they are 'Zero-ed' sealed during volcanic eruption when they are molten. The remaining isotopes can be measured and then extrapolated back in age. This phenomenon, radioactive decay, is a very well understood process. For dating they don't just use one isotope, they use many and cross reference them.
1
@rodt9779 If it is the Dinosaur flesh question then please reference the publication. I will try and find it for you.
1
@rodt9779 They don't measure what is there, they measure what is left and extrapolate back. I happen to know a lot about this as two colleagues I went to University with work with mass spectrometry, these measures the isotopes involved. There are lots of these little clocks that can be used to cross reference as there are multiple types of rocks and isotopes
1
@rodt9779 Did you go on Physics forums and ask?
1
@rodt9779 Did you ask on physics forums????
1
@rodt9779 I have posted the link 3 times!
1
@rodt9779 Join the best physics and STEM community
1
@rodt9779 just Google physics forums.
1
@rodt9779 The guy who runs it is called Greg, you will find me as a member physics forums . Com
1
@rodt9779 I have read through your posts and you have said, physicists, biologists AND geologists/geophysicists are wrong. Yet you are not trained in Science. You not think that sounds crazy? Physics forums dot com
1
@rodt9779 Did you make an introduction? My name is rod and I have some questions regarding Science. I have been told this is a good place to ask.
1
@rodt9779 Also mail me. I am pinball 1970 same picture etc. I can help with questions. Please remember they are professional Scientists who are there to help students learn. Small steps yes? There are some Christians on there too!
1
@rodt9779 Please read the rules too Rod. Are you on as Rod T?
1
@rodt9779 I would not out god bless after every post either. They are there to explain Science to you not be blessed by you. Like I said there are many theists on there but they leave their religion at the laboratory door.
1
@rodt9779 and please read the rules
1
@bieberbazzejunge Why? Evidence?
1
@bieberbazzejunge That could be closer to what Cosmology is telling us.
1
@bieberbazzejunge Yes and that I can come back as a mongoose
1
@HawditOla It could be, if you are convinced this is not correct I assume you are a Cosmologist?
1
@apacheattackhelicopter8778 Thanks, I learn from people and I try and be respectful if I can
1
@colliermckinny5560 A couple of cyclic models, Turok for one Penrose another. Alan Guth says the universe is most eternal and Sean Carroll seemed ok with that based on the models they have looked at.
1
@colliermckinny5560 No, the SST was shown to have instabilities although Hoyle held on till he died. The universe is accelerating in its expansion that much they know, the heat death in Penrose model equates to another BB.
1
@colliermckinny5560 No one claims matter is being created in the universe now.
1
@colliermckinny5560 Penrose model does not involve a crunch bounce, the end of one marks the beginning of another.
1
@colliermckinny5560 I don't believe in anything regarding cosmology, I just follow the science, the current consensus.
1
@colliermckinny5560 You need to read about CCC, too long here. Simply put the equilibrium state of the end of universe has no mass and no time which has very similar properties to the beginning of the universe. Inflation theory gives rise to multiverse which is not part of CCC.
1
@colliermckinny5560 Yes I said SST was discarded for that and other reasons. Do you have a point to these questions? Anything in particular? I read about this stuff because my son was doing a PhD in cosmology and a part of my job involves spectral data. I also like some other areas of physics, particularly QM.
1
@colliermckinny5560 Yeah it's confusing as the terms are mixed and matched, from what I (barely) understand, many worlds is part of the interpretation of QM, everything that could happen does. Multiverse is part of inflation, eternal creation of universes. Both bat shit crazy, interesting and out of my league in terms of the maths. I studied the basics of QM and all the maths that comes with it and you have to practice. It's damn hard. I have been reading about CCC because Penrose scooped the Nobel. His book the road to reality blew my mind, I need to finish that book!
1
@colliermckinny5560 In terms of where I am on which theory I support i am just an arm chair spectator who plays at weekends. I tend to get in arguments about Evolution with theists rather than cosmology. 'I don't know,' is fine, 'i don't know and it's god,' I object to.

Maw 3615054 Probably not. Your point sir?
1
Maw 3615054 What did he create? Bacteria?
1
Maw 3615054 Yes organics have been found, you are aware of chemical analysis of meteors? Also spectral analysis of other compounds in distant systems? Anyway I asked what your creator actually created. Did he create stars?
