@mozzarellamaniac6300 That word you mentioned is related to obsession. I am not obsessed about Japan. I do drive a Japanese automobile, stream videos on a Sony television, and use other Japanese products. If I hated Japan I wouldn't be using any Japanese products. These days, I really don't have to buy as many Japanese products, because China is making comparable products at a lower cost.

@ryanseet8314 Xinjiang was conquered by the Qing Dynasty in 1759. Tibet was liberated from a backward feudal regime, and now the people are better off for it.

@ryanseet8314 The Qing Dynasty pre dated the PRC, so whatever lands that were under the control the previous governments in China belonged to the new government in China.

@ryanseet8314 As for Xinjiang, the Qing Dynasty conquered it, and after the Qing Dynasty collapsed in 1911. The ROC took over that region, Xinjiang was under ROC control. In 1949, the PRC laid claim to it. Yes, the Yuan Dynasty invaded Japan twice, one in 1231, and the 2nd time in 1281. Mongols, Chinese, and Koreans took part in the invasion. That is history, so what?

@ryanseet8314 Yes, the Qing Dynasty lost about 910,000 square kilometers of territory to the Russians in the late 19th century. That is the reason why Sino-Soviet Relations soured in the 1960.

@Thoughtcaster-six Most people in China are content and happy. That government is in danger of being toppled. On the other hand, the US empire may go away like the USSR in the near future. You have all the same problems that the USSR had back in the 1980s, like rampant inflation, a disfunctional government, inept domestic policies, divisions in society, massive debts, lower standard of living, etc.
