@raymondmiller5098 Yeah, I'd say after Bush economy," more than soured". I'm a small one man remodeler. During Clinton, my bank account went from a few hundred, to 16 thousand. Work was steady and people were doing well enough that I was turning down work. Then came W. My very small business went down by the year. People weren't getting work done. I was scrounging just to keep the bills paid. Obama came in, and even with McConnell swearing to keep him stagnant, he did get things back on their feet. So its so clear that maybe we don't even need Republicans. Because every cycle, they screw things up so badly, that it takes the first several years to just pull the country out of the mud. There'll still be people that disagree, but they will be Dems or whatever. Dems are versatile. Republicans are stuck in the mud, because they follow a slug like Moscow Mitch,s leadership like sheep. Right over the cliff. As long as the wealthy make it, that's the Republicans way.
As for other countries, Germany, GB, and others. They have their upsets, politicians that are crooked, people that are disgusted with their life too. Yes, they have health care and better retirement benefits. But still just get by. I was born in Germany and have relatives there. They tell me. I came here at age 4, with my mom and adopted soldier dad, that brought us here. I've worked my whole adult life after 6 years in the army. Following my dad as a carpenter. Raised 2 of my own kids and 2 of my wife's kids from her first marriage. We never had a lot. I built our house after 12 years of apartment living. Always worked hard. But seeing not of difference with Republicans and Dems as presidents. Until I worked for myself. Then u notice the difference.
I truly hope people get out and vote blue, even with prices up. Republicans will NOT!, do anything to fix it. During Republicans, we still outsourced. Companies still moved to foreign labor. We cannot let them lie their way back to control. Except for the supreme Court, things can be fixed. If they get fixed enough, maybe even the supreme Court can be dealt with. We shouldn't abandon ship. I believe we're in the majority and should press that point.

@virginiatyree6705 Hey V, I'm sure there are several considerations to emotional and physical outcome. According to the news, trump doesn't drink because of family member issues. But, then we hear he does some kind of drug use, explaining why he's up and down with his behavior, speech and ability to read the monitors, etc. As for dementia and and other natural chemical things we go through as we age, i don't know what the statistics are on that. But those things we accept, because we all go through that to some degree.
Did you catch Joe Biden on Jimmie Kimmel? He certainly is getting into the old man ramble trait. But I'll tell ya. As bad as that may be. He still is smarter and more well spoken than 45 has ever been. And, knows his shit.
Personally I don't care as much about the age thing. Trump was and is, just bad for America. And we truly need to make sure he doesn't get another foothold in government. So we must vote blue in November. And try to make sure as many people as we can get to vote with us. To make sure, Republicans don't get the majority either. Thanks V.

@raymondmiller5098 Yeah, I don't disagree. I to am in hope that maybe, one of the rising stars in the Dem party bursts forth for 24. I agree, Biden won't run, same reason. And yeah, though Harris is both smart and capable of being president, she couldn't win. Honestly, any black female would have been a better choice than Harris. I know Biden promised, but choosing the woman who so bashed him in the debates? Come on. And her constant play on her personal traumatic upbringing...the poor me routine isn't a good way to go.
Anyway, that'll be our savior in 24, finding a really good speaker, with the fire to grab the voters.
You're so correct about the right going totally authoritarian, is a problem for a good democratic government. That's definitely going to be something that has to be dealt with. But for the life of me, I can't understand it. These are people we elect, to supposedly, as a group, deal the day to day governmental needs. But they're so busy, playing games, and now the crazies are in control. Well kinda. The thing about it is, this kinda stuff, comes and goes and life goes on. We probably just need to do what our jobs are, vote when the time comes and let them do what they're going to do anyway. I've worked all my life to just get by. No president made it easier or better, cept maybe Clinton. And now people are bashing him about things he did. But as a working stiff, I did the best during his 8 years. And never the same after or before.
You may well be right in your predictions. We all just need to do our jobs and vote to at least keep the Republicans at bay, as well as possible.

I'm sorry Adam but the republican party has been constitutionally awash for 40 years. Mitch McConnell has been the president of the Senate since the 90s, and that was the turning point of democracy in America. His lopsided desire for ultimate control is not what our forefathers wanted for the country. And he's forced the laws to go one sided since he's been leader. If that doesn't change there may be a true uprising in America that is not Republicans vs Democrats, but the people against the government as a whole. People won't be chanting kill pence or Biden or any particular party. Just, we're damn sick of the bullshit. You people talk a good game, always at election time. But the moment your in that cushy 200 thou a year job, its how can we appease the 2% and make sure they are happy. And trickle down happens all over. Look at it this way. How would it be if everyone in the US doesn't pay their taxes. State or government. Of course by that time, everyone has paid in weekly, biweekly or quarterly. So maybe that won't work. Anyway, I know if all of us working stiffs out pool our resources, maybe you'll do something about unfair taxes, unfair wages, just all around unfairness to the 85% of us who make less than 80 thou a year.

@donaldmiller8629 No, I haven't. I guess you didn't listen much to the narration, and what president decided, we don't need regulations or watchdogs to make sure things like major pollution, didn't run rampant. Predominantly Republicans.
But I know you trump sheep are gonna go blaming Biden and the Dems, cause we just happen to hold the majority, right now. But if you'd look farther than the end of djts orange beak, you'd hear, Biden is putting in lots of environmental ideas and moves. Where orange Julius, took down those projects, Dems always try to reinstall them. So shove your right wing, tape recorded 2 cents worth. Cause it don't fly, when the facts are right there.

@The_Raven_1025 Man, it came right from the orange horses mouth. We don't have to know any servicemen to know trump is a sick sob that talks before he thinks, then he's worse when he thinks. How many professional psychoanalysts, and even writers that have witnessed his actions for 4 years and longer, have to testify , before more people see the real djt. For a person that's had it easy, his whole life. Handed millions of dollars, practically handed the business his daddy started. He's turned into a selfish, hateful, biggoted, egotistical sob. Maybe it's his upbringing, who truly knows. Does he have a shrink? Probably not. Too full of ego to admit anything to anyone.
He should have never been elected. He's failed to many things in his life, to be responsible for running a country. He doesn't want to learn anything, because he truly believes, he's smart enough to do anything. But he's not.
He doesn't truly care about all the people who put him on a pedestal. They're pawns. Pawns for money. Pawns for votes. Pawns to boost his ego, when it's strained by people who see the real jerk he is, and are willing to speak out. Vote blue in 22, and show him, the majority of us want him gone.
