This is why we need to give Biden another pat on the back and show more appreciation for what he's going through just to keep things safe and going here, as well as it is.   3. My comment on retirement age before the action starts. My dad worked his ass off as a carpenter/house builder from the time he got out of the airforce at 23 until he retired at 71. He died at 75. Screw these bastards with money and cushy jobs, making retirement a way to pay back tax cuts for themselves and their rich f,n friends. You can bet your butt, my dad's case is not unique.

The question about Bidens visit really hit me considering the lousy, sickening accusations certain right wing aholes made about Biden going to Ukraine vs going to Ohio and the train accident where I don't think anyone has died.   6. It surly seems pretty selfish for Ukraine to do things that would hurt any allies, while begging for aid from those allies. But in war there are small groups that may break away from the leaders and do things behind the backs of the leadership either with or without the blessings of the leadership. Going into Russia is one thing, damaging pipelines to other countries is another. But! I'll tell you what. Tell me you're going to just sit back and watch your people killed daily, your homes and lands destroyed daily, and not do everything possible to stop it. We talk from a secure, safe, free, environment. Not in a room where just minutes ago, a Russian missile just killed many and destroyed the building. When all we have to worry about is tooth brightness. It's pretty easy to judge.

We here have no idea the horrors that go on in authoritarian run developing areas of the world. People just trying to get basic freedoms. Very disheartening. This is why I always say we need to aid countries, not just with money. Because we know 70% never sees the people it's meant to help. But something more. I realize, no-one wants to go into harms way or send their sons or daughters. But with all the smart minds, getting together with these places. Figure out some way to help the hurting ones.

  17. Coming from the other side, my mom and I are German immigrants coming here when I was 4 with an American soldier that married my mom. And we'd get harassed by some neighbors when they'd find out we were from Germany. But I know what you are referring to. But it's just like now with politics. You don't like trump, you're hated by people who do. People are highly sensitive and influenced by certain things that create hate.

  21. We armchair quarterbacks need to see the fact that, the Russian civilians are not being killed. Where in Ukraine, ordinary civilians are being killed daily with Putin's," kill everyone", bombings. So Ukraine totally in defense mode, though obviously killing Russian soldiers, doesn't effect Russians, unless the relatives of killed soldiers. This is why they want more offensive weapons. They need to knock the hell out of Russian troops, so the relatives of those troops climbs all over Putin to stop this shit. Russian parent's are gonna start putting more heat on Putin to get out, we're sick of waiting for that letter saying their sons have died.

  22. I so agree, the desire for Ukraine to only be defensive, has to be heart wrenching for not only the Ukrainians but Biden too. This can't be easy. Something has to break. Seeing Putin flooding bombs into Ukraine, killing and destroying and the Ukraine people are just supposed to turn the other cheek. Who would stand for that for any... length of time? How old is Putin now.70 something? I'm just now 70. Been an active and healthy carpenter all my adult life. And I know arthritis in my knees and a bit in my lower back slows me down considerably. So we know old clay face has to be feeling age. That's why we see him doing stuff then home for a refill of steroids, plastic surgery and other rehabilitation to make him younger again.

I still am pissed that we're not forcing the super rich to pay what they owe. Maybe it wouldn't solve the whole problem, but it would sure put a dent in the country's needs. Face it. 2% of people owning 80% of America's money is insanity. If we can see people like musk and other billionaires, just sitting on billionaires of dollars, while paying less tax than an office secretary. Something is just not right.

It took me 2 years to finally start getting my payments because I was a German boy that came here at 4 with my mom and GI dad who adopted me but, forgot to file for my citizenship card. So for 2 years I had to jump through hoops trying to confirm my citizenship. My wife was a civil service worker before we met, but she couldn't get anything either just because she hadn't worked enough. So what the hell happens with all those " insurance", payments those people made that they can never collect on? Who knows. That's why I said, I'm sure my dad's situation wasn't unique. I'm betting there's millions in slush that gets absorbed by some scumbags.

Because as we see the results are more undesired influx of immigrants, to all the free countries, that have problems of their own, without having to house, support and feed those same immigrants.   29. Hey guys. Great show. Including Ben's interview with Miss Omar. I watched the SOTU last night and did hear the children of the corn Republicans shouting their dissenting comments. And the as usual, seeing shots of them out in the audience, with their thumbs down gestures. And you worry about being childish with your balloon? Not even close. It's sure, nothing will get done with this group of flakes running the show. If these people are the supposed, adults, making our laws, it's a miracle things aren't worse. I did have a couple of dings, in Bidens points. Though the economy is better, and we're banging on the deficit and we're creating jobs. Prices are still rising. Gas is up again. I know because I bought some yesterday and last week and between those it was up about 20 cents per. Food is up on many essentials. And I'm sorry, but I still don't appreciate when he allows 400, 000 dollar earners, to be the cap on no new taxes. That weeds out thousands of doctors, lawyers and people in real estate, and others, to pay not just a little more. The average American wage is under 50,000 a year. Not 100 to 400 thou. And billionaires should pay a little more than the standard. Because as we all know, higher prices do NOT, affect them at all. But they sure as hell affect people who make less than 75 or so. I think Joe's and the team are doing a wonderful job getting us back on a good path. I just think they should try to realize or admit, that the line between low income isn't 400,000 and 350,000. The gap is much wider. And this is kinda why the Dems polls are down. When say, 200,000,000 people earn less than 70 thou a year, and prices go up and incomes don't. People are not going to see improvement. And so look for change. And believe the lies the Republicans spread. Nice show guys.

My life didn't seem to change much through all of them. And, I never lost any sleep worrying about it. Now I do admit. I started my own one man band remodel business in 1991, after 15 years of building homes with my dad. And all through the Clinton years, i did great. Plenty of work, meant finally having a savings account. Until 2000, and a republican president, George w Bush. Maybe that's where politics hit me. During those 8 years my work got less and less. Till the 2008 mess. But ya know, I still didn't or couldn't do anything about it. Bush ran his 8 and my little biz took a nose dive. But me cursing Bush did nothing. I guess my point is. Things are going to happen. And you are right. We do need to get involved where we can. Us, by voting. But all the utube vids we anguish over, doesn't change much. The Dems vote Dem and the Repubs vote repub. We have to hope those on the fence, stick with us. Thanks.

  42. Sorry but there is a difference between asylum seekers and an invasion of people who come to take advantage of man made, hard worked, sweat intensive, prosperity people here created. Yes, the US was predominantly created by individuals coming from elsewhere and becoming a united peoples to make up a country. People fought and died to make America, America. Many of whom I've seen don't want to become Americans, they want to create large pockets of Hispanic only speaking environments. It's not words people use creating bad vibes against immigrants just wanting safety and a better life, it's the immigrants themselves showing exactly what they're doing. It seems to me, if Mexicans, want to be proud of their heritage and other south American immigrants, fight for the improvements to your country. Fight for the safety from crime, in your country. Fight to create better jobs, in your country. It's one thing for one or two or three families, individuals, etc, to come to the US or Canada or elsewhere to experience a different life. But when 10 thousand people a day, come flooding in, taking resources away from people who already are here, that's an invasion. So don't blame words for causing animosity. Blame actions made by the people who come in illegally .

  48. What sucks about the Ukraine ceasefire is, why is Putin the one doing the demanding? From what we've been hearing, Ukraine is doing some pretty serious hitting on Russia as well. So maybe Zelenskyy should be able to make some demands, as well. Such a disgusting ending for Ukraine after all the deaths and destruction to their country and people's. Damn Putin to hell. Because we know he'll never keep any promises he makes.
