Because businesses want their same profit margin and, they have to pay the employees a living wage. This used to be possible without prices being thru the roof. Growing up, I knew people who had a reasonable price home, that they could afford. They bought reasonable vehicles, food. Basically survived decently and no doubt, companies still made profits. Now it's like, a person working full time at a job, yet not being able to afford a home, food, bills. Something is wrong these days that wasn't there in the 50s and 60s. Thanks guys, good show.

But honestly, police, military, other organized paid civil service people take an oath to serve and protect , or to defend the constitution etc. Once you take that oath, you're no longer an average citizen. You have a responsibility to be a role model, a member of a trusted organization. So protest or coup, you shouldn't be involved in the disapproval of a legal event. Like a judge who judges a case of a family member, he should step aside, because he's obviously going to be prejudiced. But I do have to say it again. I was just making a comparative innocent comment . It wasn't meant to be critical.

  11.  @johnjones9641  According to Google, Arabs have about 200 plus years of oil in the ground. They also produce natural gas, and other ores to sell. So I guess it'll be a while before they don't have a foot on the necks of the world. But I did read that we are last on the list of receivers of oil from them. China is the largest then down from there. This world is a bit more intermingled than we know.

  13. There's no doubt that the private Putin war is raking on the Russian people, oligarchs or not. What is the country as a whole getting from the ongoing battle? Nothing. It's all losing. Saying your doing it to fight against Nazi sympathizers or ideals , when no-one saw this but Putin, isn't going to fly when all the citizens see is deaths of sons and relatives in general. It's only human to not want constant war, especially for personal reasons of Putin.

  15. I think the idea of dealing with the cartels isn't a bad one because they are the cause of so many south Americans fleeing their country right? It's not invading the country providing troops to help the police already fighting the cartel. Why does that seem too extreme, in your opinion? How can you be more than glad to supply Ukraine with weapons of war, to help them fight their oppressors, but begrudge south Americans or Mexicans ways to fight the oppression of drug cartels? I don't know about the plans the right has for " bombing Mexico", but it's pretty obvious that, if drug cartels are a major cause of fleeing Mexican population. Then why would aiding them in fighting the cartels be a bad thing? What am I missing here? I'm definitely not a conservative republican or republican at all, but I thought the idea of working across the aisle, was a good thing.

  18. I think the worst thing everyone got wrong was the length of time and damage to Ukraine this is and has caused. It shows Putin is willing to go on with the attack, as long as he has resources of men and arms. I don't think he wants to go nuclear, because he damn well knows no-one in any country would go for that. He is a vengeance seeker. He absolutely hates the thought of losing or probably even caving to compromise. It's obvious the government is influenced by drug cartels. Drugs have to be the most profitable of any 1 product . And people say they are fleeing from the horrific behavior of cartels and drug related crimes. And this follows suit with other southern American countries as well. This is why I support a physical support for these countries in fighting the drug cartels and their foothold they have on government policies there. Isn't it better to spend money on aid , whether military or something, rather than trying to absorb all the influx of people running for their lives? We pour money and military goods into Ukraine, to help them fight an adversary. Why not help other countries fight the drug cartels, so maybe these people could make their country be free to prosper in their own right.

  33. It's been my opinion forever that, why not help needy countries with their own business desires. That way they can have their own job production and financial needs for their people. That would help their people to be proud of their own homeland instead of coming to the US or elsewhere by the hundreds. Sure, it would involve financial aid, but supporting them here costs more and thins job opportunities for Americans.

Just like Afghanistan, we drizzle fight,so not to affect the country too severely, and the moment we left, things went right back to the status quo. Just as with djt. As long as the antagonist lives, misery continues. Sometimes, you have to kill cancer. Remove it totally. And some cancer is tougher and needs a stronger more aggressive removal. Evil seems to adapt. Adapt to temporary financial loss. But then finding out they have more than we anticipated. Maybe your analysis is totally correct and our leaders, do exactly what you suggest. But I have to believe your method isn't unique. And hasn't been tried. Or maybe not and we truly don't care about a whole country's people, as long as we get what we need or want, resource wise. So we accept the dismay for their people and allow the injustice. If so, that doesn't say much for us, as humane people. But that's the government. Sad.

  38. If Ukraine settles or loses anything, that would be disgusting. The world should stand against Putin. Not Russia, but Putin himself. Not one country would accept this kind of attack from him. Not one. Asking Ukraine to settle, would be a kick in the face. If Putin decided he wants Kansas, drops in 10 thou troops and makes a claim, are we going to settle? But it would take a more multi national demand for Putin to pull out or else. Half is not gonna do it.

Negative and positive. And yes. I will be behind Kamala and Tim, 100% in my vote. But I would have been for Joe Biden as well. And like you said. Not just like a cult.
