That's great and I totally agree to the plan. But,,, I hope the administration does something to aid low income people in fuel price rise. Many of us just cannot afford 2 and 3 dollar fuel hike. We were having issues before. My work truck hasn't seen a full tank in years.
You're right that oil companies or gas distributors are definitely taking advantage of our need.
People who don't drive for their job or totally rely on a vehicle to work, can always sit there and tell others, move away from fossil fuel. U ride ur train or jump a cab, place to place. But hundreds of thousands of us use our vehicle for work and don't have the money or resources to go electric. It's all well and good to say,,, an idea,,, but implementing it is another.

I just want to know these people s reasoning for no increase. Is it that they want no,,, increase, or just not 15 per? Let's see how they'd like it if we decided to lower her salary.
We know it s not going to happen overnight. The 15 dollar increase happens over so many years. So what's the big deal with passing it? I know, as do we all, raise the minimum wage and the companies pass the cost on to consumers. Not cool. And maybe reducing companies profits some how, through regs,or something would bring costs down, so what we earn, goes farther? Something has to be done. It's like health care. The reason for the battle for better health care is mostly because it's so damn expensive. Well that's the same problem with everything else. Food, gas, rent, mortgage, most everything costs so much. That's the problem with the world in general. Why do you think people buy chinese or other non us markets. Capitalism creates greed, big profits. Big shots have to have 10 houses. 5 planes, 6 yachts. Etc. So makes tons of profits, to shove into their pockets. But heaven forbid the average working stiff being able to have two cars, and a home and paid bills, and still buy food and other essentials, without sacrificing something else. That's the problem. If not higher wages,,,,what then? Something should be done.

I agree, though Cheney was very much appreciated during the investigations. And many many, podcasts boasted her as a hero. Along with Adam Kissinger. But many of us, though crediting their work on the committee. Still know they ran with trump 99.9 % of his 4 years. Harris was trying to show Republicans, she'd be their president too. But hell yes. The butt kissing of Cheney and even talk that she would have had a spot in the Harris White House.
But sorry, she did press the issue of trans rights, many times.
But yes I agree, her campaign made many mistakes.
Trump won only because of her failure and sorry to say. But being a female was an issue. I heard it many times. A woman can't be the president. I don't agree. I voted for her. But I believe that, just like with Hillary, is an issue. And in a close race. Every issue counts.
What's strange, and I'll never understand. How did trump and Obama get so many of the same voters? Obama even won Florida. That's a weird scenario to unfold.
The biggest problem is how to deal with this upcoming administration and the congress being in its pocket.

I read a big percentage of the the comments and see all the anti old, remarks. Obviously none have seen the movie, Children of the Corn. Youth doesn't always mean correct or right about things.
I agree either party has their selfish ideals and things that serve their self interest,, on both sides. But don't think younger is better, or that Bernies ideas are all practical or even possible.
I watched his Fox forum thing. Though he had responses for everything, he did get a bit hesitant on a couple of questions given to him. Which is understandable,,, I'm just saying, y,all think it's so cut and dry, doing all government does,,,,, it's not. There are reactions to every action and they're not always gonna come from, kumbaya sources. Experience matters. Running the business of a whole country and its world connections, takes more than being an instigator and a young newbie in congress. Not that any of the new reps aren't capable. But it takes a village, as they say. Old and young alike. Oh and yes,, I'm talking to Pelosi too.

Tell me something David. How do you think it goes over, wearing a swastika shirt everywear. It's a South Eastern symbolistic emblem. But also being a Nazi flag, it's a very negative meaning. Right?
I have always thought, since I came to the US at age 4, that I am an American. I'm not a German American, Jewish American, etc. The fact that people come here and promote the country they're from, in a way of resistance, is not cool. I'm from Germany
But if the US, treats Germany a certain way, I may not be happy about it, but I'm not going to make a bunch of German outfits and signs and condemn the US, unless it's a totally horrible, unprovoked treatment. Then I may say something. Since 9,11. We have a definite mindset against Muslims, Arabs, etc. These are where these behaviors have come from. So why?, if these supposedly intelligent Congress members are so smart and understanding, do not THEY, conform a little, to be less provocative? You have 3 or 4 Congress members that just so happened to get elected. Vs hundreds of average American members. Why is it ALWAYS, the majority that have to submit to the several? When do they bend a little?

That is true. I'm surprised Jen said that. In that way. Did sound very,,, capitalistic? Cost over safety. The Biden administration is definitely not concerned with spending to have better health care. So once again, I'm surprised she didn't ponder a bit before saying it like that. I have a feeling she'll apologize for it, if she hasn't already. I honestly believe she doesn't have that mindset, and I know she knows the administration wants only the best for the people, and getting this virus under control.
But in all honesty, if people who are, for some reason,,not getting vaccinated, would just get the vaccine, testing wouldn't be so necessary. You get vaccinated, then if you get sick, you treat it like a regular flu, stay home, get rest, and if it gets more severe, you go to the doctor, and they test. I think that may have been what she was maybe trying to point out. When not hearing the whole q and a, we can't be sure.
But I know, Biden and the administration is really pushing, get your vaccination! And Jen does say it always. So if people don't wanna get the shot but wanna test forever that seems crazy too.

He's part of the administration. More than he's been for years. He would have to truly smooth out his overkill ultra left ideals,if he wants to be president. America is more centrist, that left or right. The Dems have the right mindset, if you go in with both feet to either side, your gonna lose. Biden won because a majority know he's got the right stuff. Willing to bend to the right aslong as doesn't go too far, and same on the left. The old saying,,,you can't please everyone,,,,is a good ideal to go by.

They haven't become minds of mush,, they have always been that way. They have never had a platform of which to vent and feel they have a voice.
And yes,, cult,,, is the perfict description . Insanity isn't new to the world. Different levels of insanity are common too. Like road rage, excessive prejudice, etc. These are the Trump supporters. They've never felt embraced before and had rallies and a platform. Trump tapped into that group. Like sheep, they'll follow him over the cliff,,, only thing is,,, he'll secretly have a parachute,, so he can continue on, after his reign is over.

The 70 million sounds to high to me. If anyone can create phoney votes, it'd be the party that has done everything in it's power to, curb voting, create redistricting, etc. They want to stop any thing, that will take away their having, the last word, the last say so. And they boast that at every turn. We would have had at least one more liberal justice, during Obama's terms,,if not for Moscow Mitch holding back a vote to endorse. Just like Obamacare, roe v wade, money for the virus for certain Americans. Mcconnell has the power to just not listen or hear a bill, and he loves it. So ways to assure almost a third of the American voters loving Trump,,is difficult to believe.

@delboyg01 oh and PS. The dems have gotten more things,,, done, as you say,, that the house Republicans and senate got done in trumps first two years. Taxes. They re alway a givin,, in a republican term. And the judge crap,,, same thing. McConnell has been after that since he got into the senate. The only republican president that has raised taxes was the first Bush. So if you're gonna use those as Drumpf accomplishments,,, Sorry. As for the wall,,,, we're still waiting for Mexico to write that check donny. And as for NK,,,,, little Kim is laughing all the way to the white house.
