@othellox1064 Guy defending China says I made it up. Shocking news.
4
I would think such requirements should have been 1 or 2 oppositions allowed while still being passed. The point is that for super important things, it needs everyone of Almost everyone on board
4
@skydragon23101979 "reading such distorted perspectives?", well, then you can surely inform us why all of China's neighbors on the east and SE want protection against China and not protection against US. > is cooperating well with China. So you're saying they are concerned but it makes China right because those countries keep cooperating because they don't want to be attacked and don't' want to economical suffer. That's the argument? >Philippines would be looking for trouble with Asean and China if she continues down her current path. A So if the Philippines don't allow China to attack their boats and to steal from their economic zone, it's the Philippines fault that China proceeds to do that? The fact there was no response on why all those countries seek protection agaisnt CN suggest you know CN is a danger.
4
@XiaoPangZi Interesting point you raised that I have often argued. The US after WW2 made lot of bad decisions but on the whole, they basically saved the world from communism. Without the US, USSR would likely have spread to more of Europe and would have spread communism to many other parts of the world. I don't understand how people can say that the world would have been better if the US allowed communism to spread considering communist countries had the worse human rights and their economies didn't work either which is why they all ditched it (except North Korea).

@mike04thelegend92 Calm down Putin
4
@cageybee7221 Nothing you describe sounds like there is a high probability for Ukraine to pay back all it's debt or be in a confident position to pay back all it's debt in 10 years. Those chances get reduced the longer the war goes and costs during the war rise an cost to repair Ukraine after rise. I'm fairly certain the lenders know that it's very likely Ukraine they will have to forgive part of their loans.
4
@loukmanoulkadi7525 the Iraq war 2003 was wrong for sure. But doesn’t compare to Russia. Iraq was a major concern to the whole world and had invaded two neighbors, used chemical weapons twice including on civilians, was under UN sanctions and 12 times violated resolutions that required weapons inspected, etc. what Russia is doing is a land grab and trying to force others to be a colony of Russia
4
@sueyourself5413 just so everyone knows, Sue Yourself in other comments seems to be defending Russia or criticizing action against russsia. This is how the KGB works
3
"The “meatgrinder” that officialy made Russias Army “combat ineffevtive”" Hoping that's what it will be remembered for. Too early to tell.
3
@blacklighthologram5339 That's like saying Putin saved 10,000 Ukrainians by deciding not to flatten one village.
3
@gerhardaryawardana72 I've caught two Perun videos and they are very good. They just very long (generally around 1hr or more) and no way I can watch all the videos when I have so many other videos to watch. What you describe about the video, it does make a lot of sense. The key seems to be that Ukraine must keep attacking or bombarding Russian military positions. With the already low morale with Russians soldiers, the winter conditions and being bombarded might really break many of those Russian soldiers. Will it turn into any major land gains in the winter or will it serve to help weaken Russia for a later major land gain is unknown. I don't have high hopes that Ukraine would be able to make the major land gains during the winter.

That is very funny. Someone else mentioned ""Staying neutral when a fire is raging is standing with the ones who lit it". but it seems like the party worked backwards -- they started with YES party and then tried to make 'YES' into an acronym. This is exactly how some US bills are done -- then want a catchy acronym and then workbackwards often creating a funny sounding bill name. One famous example is the "Patriot Act' that was officially "USA PATRIOT Act". They wanted that acronym to get support and from there, worked back words for the full name "Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism Act of 2001".
3
@XMysticHerox well said. But that doesn’t mean infrastructure, healthcare, energy need to be completely government owned — they can be mix public private or even private so long as heavily regulated. That’s why Italy has a private high speed rail, most European countries use some form of private healthcare (either hospitals, insurance, etc) and why many countries also offer private school (although in England they actual call it public school when it’s not run by the government).
3
@madensmith7014 "It also takes days to weeks to make any significant gains, but here we are having people expecting large gains within a day." Well the counter offensive has been going on for over a month maybe nearly 2 months now.
3
I agree. EU needs to step up and become less reliant but Macrons position on Taiwan is BAD. In addition, he chose the wrong time to make such a statement. Marcon isn't actually concerned the EU should be less reliant on the US, he wants the EU to becomes reliant on France. He want's a France led EU.
3
@7bits0 Maybe in CHina they don't show you the real news? But Americans were majority against the Iraq war since about 2004.
3
@skydragon23101979 > pr0v0king the Taiwan issue Are you saying that China didn't say they may attack TW? Are you saying they didn't run exercised around TW practicing an invasion? >although they say they standby one China principle The one forced on people by China? > Is China preventing any commercial ships from passing through They attacked Phillipines fishing boats and Vietnam gas drillers. And you're saying that China taking the West Philippines sea won't be a problem to anyone? Why even take it with force like they are doing? > you are talking about the sovereignty of the islands in South China Sea and the nine dash line issues then I refer you to the treaty of Taipei, the Potsdam declaration. Relevance?
3
@skydragon23101979 "Is it in Europe’s interest that US profit exorbitantly when Europe was in an energy crises" The US was the one trying to get EU (Germany mostly ) to not proceed with the nordstream pipeline. Germany put themselves in that situation. And you want the US to send them free energy?
3
@skydragon23101979 " In comparison if you look at Russia China partnership and they are not even allies, China is essentially supporting Russia’s economy from sanctions and difficult times," China was caught in communication with Rus planning sending arms to them. They also have drastically increased trade to help Rus deal with sanctions. Xi and Putin are on video calling each other friends and talking about how them two will change the world like it's not been changed in 100 years. That's an allie.
3
@lagrangewei They are by giving Ukraine the weTapTons to end it. But RU inv which is also a threat do Europe so it cannot allow RU to win. CN in the analogy would literally be RU . It's former territory that it lost around 1950. EU doesn't recognized Taiwan as belonging to the PRC. Why was that left out? EU recognizes Ruzzia as a country but they do not recognized Crimea as being part of Ruzzia. This is too easy to fact the claims
3
Appears to be a sign of issues that RUS can no longer keep spending money to prop up the ruble. If this stays above 100 for extended period of time, RUS is doomed.
3
@MrShpoulsen That's exactly whey they can remain entirely 'neutral'. They are protected by other countries who pose no threat to them anymore. They don't have to worry about being invaded by Russia or China or some middle-east or African country. They benefit so tremendous from that support that they actually don't invest as much in defense as they use to.
3
@frenchguitarguy1091 I dont like the idea of singing off comments. Pretentious. - Michael Scott
3
@@arisnotheles "Turkey has never pulled a Brexit," because they never were part of the EU.
3
@voicpanov3594 no great power competition because RUuzzka proved it can’t even beat a country that had no real army 9 years ago! Heil Pootler!
3
I don’t trust Turkey at all. Hungary turned out to be a mess and Poland if not for their support of Ukraine would be in same discussion as Hungary as mistakes. Turkey is another Hungary — quasi supporter of Putin and autocratic leaders eroding democracy…like Putin!
3
That last sentence is wrong — evil things are always to entirely benefit themselves. It’s not the worst thing in the world but it is a touch of evil which is expected considering he’s made himself a Putn like dictator
2
@hcaslanO I see too many comments online where people claim to be some persecuted group and say "we are not persecuted". Seems suspect.
2
@tigris4247 also, you’re arguing that Ukraine should forever remain a puppet of Russia. Wow.
2
@ksmith2852 US froze but didn’t confiscate the $330 billion (not 500) and the aid package to Ukraine has been around $50 billion. Where do you get your facts, RT?
2
@BigBoiiLeem yeah, i was just pointing out that I was converted too
2
@StArShIpEnTeRpRiSe I didn’t say Orban changed. OP said “leaders who have been in power for quiet some time OR have changed”. Orban has made elections in Hungary unfair and this his advantage almost like Putin and Erdogan have done.
2
@StArShIpEnTeRpRiSe Orban worries me. I guess Erdogan too but maybe Orban worries me more because they are part of the EU and Orban is behaving more like a Putin and Erdogan than a typical EU country

1917 and 1991 and....TBD.

Reserves were used to prop up the ruble for a while which was being funded by the high prices of gas in early and mid 2022. Price of gas dropped meaning they can't replenish as much of the reserves which means reserves are now declining to the point where they can't use as much of it to prop up the ruble. Not really surprising when you consider all the factors.
2
@ricardoxavier827 "By UN democratic parliament decision, Taiwan belong to China," Actually, no. It does not say anywhere that taiwan belongs to China. They left it vague for a reason.
2
Azuri e Theoretically China could take Taiwan but they will have to lose millions. Is that an option? If not, then Taiwan can be defended .
2
@陈奕纯-u9c yeah, Taiwan, South Korea and west Germany turned out much better.
2
@jurgnobs1308 all his videos are very long! Lol. They can be shortened if he was interested but his program is about full in depth details. It’s more educational at a cost of smaller audience but one can rightfully argue that with so many short form videos already out there, It provides a different type of option. Great videos but it also means I’m only going to watch the videos on topics that most interest me. Might check out this winter war video.
2
@rylandrc Got it. YT has made many changes that make the experience worse. Getting rid of dislikes?? I have to watch a video in part or entirety to find out if it's any good? And comments no longer showing dislikes? Then YT removes so many comments and it's hard to know why. I'm also getting far more YT commercials which I believe might be related to me watching more YT (they know I will keep tuning in). I'm seriously going to look at Nebula or whatever the service is that most of these educational videos are on.
2
@rylandrc "but it looks like very few new comments were added due to no longer being anywhere visible near the top." Yeah, when you first replied to that the post is buried this comment chain had about 90-95 replies . That's every little for 1.4k likes especially when it had over 50 comment replies in the first 24 hours.
2
@rylandrc I've had the increased ad for at least 2 months but maybe it was still part of Holidays? Before last week, I used my iphone for 95% of youtube and my tv or computer for the other 5%. But I've been using my computer (with 27" monitor) a lot more the past few weeks. I'll get the ad blocker on my computer and I"ll look into apps for phone usage.
2
@rylandrc I did figure out somewhat hack on phone when I kept getting all the ads. I'm getting a lot more "1 of 2 ads" with the first being a full 15 second! I realized one day when I cast my phone YT to my TV at the beginning when the ad is playing, it just skips the ad! So with all these longer and more frequent ads, I tried something new -- if I get a full 15 second ad or "1 of 2 ads", i just quickly connect my phone to my TV, wait for it to connect (takes like 2 seconds), then disconnect and the video starts up on my phone without any commercials! But I'm starting to notice I'm getting hit with a short ad a couple minutes into watching (2-4 minutes) so maybe they try to correct for that.
2
You are right. From Wikipedia: - In 2003, the Moldovan parliament adopted a law defining "Moldovan" and "Romanian" as glottonyms for the same language
2
@HaydenLau. You agree though that the geography and the rivers make it very difficult to invade, right?Just saying it's not impossible? Especially now that the Finland has had 80 years to prepare. The Winter War has Soviet with 5x as many casualties as Finland..350,000 to 70,000.
2
I think there is a balance of both that must be done. Trade but don't trade too much where you are dependent on them. Unless it's a liberal democracy.
2
@strateeg32 "Not to mention we as Europe basically demanded the whole world to get involved and sanction Russia" That's the biggest problem in his statement. Europe shouldn't get involved in other parts of the world but the world should get involved with Europe. Well, the other major issue is that he basically gave Xi a tool to use to get support by saying Europe should stay out and it's not anyone's business to get involved in other countries' affairs.
2
@Rolando_Cueva That's easy, it's pronounced "my name".
2
@skydragon23101979 In summary, here are the contradictions and bad arguments made by Choon: 1. Unable to say why all those countries in East Asia and ASEAN want support against CN. 2. ASEAN is cooperating and not coerced into cooperating with CN because cooperation only happens if not coerced....but Europe is forced into cooperating with US because cooperation can be coerced. 3. Without a source or quote from ASEAN, ASEAN said they are clearly do not want external interference regarding their affairs all while ASEAN is indeed working with the US. 4. Argued that the starting point to the East Vietnam Sea is whatever position CN takes and THEN one has to discuss/negotiate with CN. 5. Blamed Philippines for CN attacking their boats even thought an international community voted against CN. 6. Is interested in defending CN & RU while pretending to care what’s best for Europe. 7. All of your arguments are that CN is right about everything and thus anyone that doesn't bow to their demands, it will be their fault if CN acts with military or other means.
2
@正義哥-h4c "Taiwan is a province belonging to China, not a country at all," Belonging to China based on what? Your SeeSeePee? And it's effectively a country. Has it's own military, it's own government, it's own culture, and it does not pay taxes to Beijing.
