11:10 as someone that has worked in sales for motorized equipment and motors, I can tell you I 100% agree that we need more people working in fields that service equipment. They can easily make $100k a year. Fixing restaurant equipment, medical equipment, large motors, industrial equipment/ machines, etc. when our factory floor machine is down, we have to call in expensive mechanics to fix it.

The anti science crowd is a joke and will be punished in the after life. But they are also causing the pro science to dig into a position stronger than they otherwise would have or should have.

@mahzorimipod besides having a 30 IQ, why would you say Adam has no integrity?
1
@barneylaurance1865 it’s even better — beans in pound cake!

5:41 Mayan cafe in Louisville. I went there on a work trip through Louisville — great Mexican and pan Latin food!

Adam, I love the way you talk about religion because it’s exactly like me. I don’t believe in a religious god and usually don’t believe in any higher power but I’m culturally Catholic and love to hear about the REAL history of religion such as when you pointed out that Jesus from the Bible likely was based on at least one real life person. Please do a podcast or video going more in detail of religious history. 🙏 PLEASE!

@tawnyflower-in5yy I think Chinese broccoli is somewhat popular in southern or SE China where many US Chinese immigrants came from…but Chinese broccoli is only remotely similar to broccoli and was hard to get in the US a century ago so they used “regular” broccoli instead.
1
@1337hacks Chinese broccoli is only remotely similar to broccoli. It’s leafy and thus sometimes called Chinese kale. They have a little similarity in taste but Chinese broccoli being leafy makes it superior for stir fry and changes the meal a lot as a result.

Adam, on the left vs right being too simplistic, I agree. Listening to your podcast and videos, I think me and you are extremely similar. Left but not ideological. I think we do have opinions that are generally for a better community and world rather than for a better “us” or “me”. But being practical, it means we aren’t tied down to using only solutions that are considered left nor do we feel we have to be excessive in addressing an issue for global or community good…we still value some “me”. The food waste is an interesting one. Part one on eating the cake, I’m probably more hedonistic when I think about food going to waste that I bought. I’m more concerned about how it will get me sick and I also care that spent money on it. On part 2 with produce shape, it doesn’t matter at all to me the shape and I will buy oddly snapped produce. On part 3 with being offered a big plate of food, I’m again altruistic and don’t want to see the food go to waste and might overeat.

@WanderTheNomad now that I think about it, I’ve seen him 3 times.

@LUKA_911 joy?

@mars7304 NPR most certainly caters to the left of center. Are you saying that if they aren’t full communist, they aren’t left of center? Haha, you’re making my point. And how an I not progressive and how is being progressive not to the left? I’m in support BLM, La raza, police reform, lgtbq+ rights, etc?
1
@TheSuperCanucks it seems like 50% of people online are communist or fascist. The big difference between the two is communist aren’t afraid to admit they are communist but fascist like to pretend they are more moderate.

@TheThreatenedSwan "The differences to much deeper like the anti-white language " Tell me you're alt right without telling me you are alt right. "it's well verified that while more right wing people have one standard for everyone and talk to everyone more or less the sam" Is that why Trump wanted to ban muslims and create a muslim registry? Or how he said most Mexicans coming to the US are r@ap1st and drug dealers but has to assume SOME are good people? Or how right wing terrorism is the biggest domestic threat in the US?

@jacewhite8540 "However that does not discredit how he effectively exposes that absolute corruption and unethical practices of big fossil fuel companies. " But it becomes less believable that his exposing of corruption and unethical practices are exactly as he describes it. Thats why I can't stand him. he gets 90% of it right but then makes some large assumptions or flat out ignores relevant information to fill in the final 10%. One can still learn from that youtube channel but it will NEVER change minds -- it's preaching to the choir. But i'll check out it on occasion to pick up some facts that I can verify myself afterwards. In comparison, I love NPR and PBS. I fully trust (as much as one can for any source) what they say because they will give all sides and when I have fact checked it elsewhere, their facts always hold. Preachy sources are just preaching to the choir. More balanced sources are the ones that change minds. I can see an argument that both are useful. The preachy sources that are still mostly factually correct (just ignore context or other information) can be good tool to learn more pieces of information about a topic -- just take it with some precaution and don't preach what you learned there unless you have verified elsewhere. I consumer the occasional moderate right news, often economic and financial news sources. It's a good source of information but I also have to verify any major information elsewhere.

I’m 6’4. While women like that height, they don’t like the aches and pains I have that I often make that old man sound since I was 22.

Yeah, a korean BBQ place I go to use a flat cast iron to make paella-like crispy kimichi fried rice! It is delicious. They throw in all the veggie side dishes that are included with the meats we cooked and ate. They throw in some kimchi. They get the rice a little crispy before they stir it. AMAZING!

I’ve been experimenting with liquid smoke and it’s a lot better than i thought. I never used it before 2022

@fairyheli2 I can’t tell if you’re messing with me or serious. Lol.

@rossdunning7018 8 oz a cup, double to 16 oz for a pint, double to 32 oz and a quart, The 16 is a decent measurement. Its working backward from the above. Start with a point and keep making measurements in half — 1/2 then 1/4 then 1/8x then 1/16.
1
@rossdunning7018 huh, the pint is different. Is it 8oz or 10 oz to a cup in UK?if 8 oz to a cup , then the 20oz pint makes no sense
1
@sihollett that explains why shot sizes are different!

Crab here. I’m going to say from my personal experience that I prefer to be knocked before you eat me.

@ButWhyMeIDontUndestand Thank you dodo

I too have asked myself why I like cucumber when it taste like water with a slight flavor of something. To be fair, I have to enhance the cucumber flavor to really like it so make a smoothie from it but adding sugar or eat it topped with lime and chili powder or eat cucumber with one of many dips

@KidPrarchord95 you like pain 😂

@@____________________________k My bad, it was a crappy joke

3:13 Adam reminds me of a friend I had years ago — funny guy saying funny things but does it without excitement and doesn’t laugh or smile at his jokes.
1
9:38 “flan”. Lol, I’m taking it you never ordered it at a restaurant? Adam pronounced it rhyming with pan when it’s supposed to rhyme with Ron.
1
What’s the opposite of mid life crisis? Where someone decides to live life to the fullest rather than allow the gloom of aging to drag you down? I’m 2-3 years older than Adam and aging sucks. I can put up with looking older but the physical pains of getting older and the mental pain is hard to deal with.

🦕 🦖 we’re still here

@Sean Francis Waters Lancaster I've tasted maybe 5 different cucumbers and they do vary a lot -- some have almost no flavor and other have (relatively) lots of flavor. Some with a slight bitter and other with no bitter taste.
1
That actually delicious and simple. I can make some modifications to adjust for my taste as well.

DQ was very transparent so bonus points to them

Hey Adam, I’m in love with your wife. She’s witty and sweet and you guys have great chemistry. This works great for your podcast! We also get to see your personality as well!
1
@isaaceiland-hall425 why do you care that he cares? He isn’t angry..just curious. So am I.
1
I have a guess why he did that. It seems like he didn’t have the beer glass right next to him. He was supposed to put down wine glass and pick up the beee glass but it was there.
