Estonia went from poor to the richest Eastern European country. Latvia is also doing well. The non soviet but under soviet control nations like Poland and Hungary are much wealthier today than 30 years ago.

In addition, it also discussed how the US has access to lots of Russian inner workings which is why the US is often able to know the next move for Russia. Remember when the US said the invasion was imminent -- it was likely because of that access to Russian intel. But how is Moscow today for you?
