@EconLessons Good idea, sir. I hope you get a lot more subscribers!

No such thing as bad weather, only bad sweaters.
1
Duuude! How did they dye the water so bluuuue? Whoaaaa 🕶️
1
Mushroom cloud. Not what you think it is. The post-fungal flatulent wisp of an all-natural trip.
1
@EconLessons Amazingly, the resource curse is true in Appalachia too with all the fossil fuels in the mountains. But hopefully even this region can transition to a knowledge economy in the near future.

Beautifully said!

I love all the old stone structures you film near. You probably think I'm a weirdo, but really I'm not.
1
Wow interesting. It reminds me of how in the early Middle Ages, perhaps the medieval church did not bring the gospel to the Norse fast enough. The Viking raids started. But those slowed down as Vikings came around to start learning about the humble carpenter / fisherman dude from Galilee.

Thanks for clarifying your use of resistance vs. support! ❤
1
@oldguy1030 Thanks for heaping flaming coals with your patient response.

@Notrusbot Russian athletes systematically used performance enhancement drugs in recent Olympics. Going to the Olympics means agreeing to the terms of competing clean. There's one agreement Russia broke! And we're just getting started here.
1
@Notrusbot honestly, do average Russians enjoy living in a society where the top-most powerful people constantly demand bribes, have no respect for the law, and systematically fail to fulfill their business commitments according to contract?
1
I miss panschkii. Stupid colon rejected gluten eventually.
1
@jefferyjeffery1707 I somehow remember the Russians stole some Ukrainian farm equipment, probably John Deere, but corporate in the US remotely disabled them. 😆😆😆 At least the anti theft software worked when needed!
1
Thanks for the painful reality check---for the cynical idiots!
1
Wow--it should be the Volga Riverboat Song. Ee-ee-yuk, nyem. Ee-ee-yuk, nyem. Yee-ee sho, rrasazik, ee-ee-yuk, nyem. Blue and white--sky. Blue and white--sky. See the flag, waving high, blue and white--sky!

@lewisdoherty7621 Interesting point. The Red Army Choir has an interesting performance of it. As a Finnish American, I can feel a little bit of the intimidation that a great powerful culture like Russia is able to project as superior over us little Finns. Except I am nearly 200 cm tall. Well, my point is that the song has an intimidating feel to it and could be repurposed to exert the powerful draw of democracy while showing that real freedom requires very hard work and is laborious, disappointing at times, but a sublime blessing. But you make a good point.

I once had a Russian classmate in a graduate linguistics course who worked (perhaps still does) as a Russian-English translator at the UN in NYC. He was very interested in studying English to make his writing sound as natural and native as possible. He openly condemned the Russian invasion in Feb. 2022. But I am sure Russian spies of a high level have authority to say things like that in order to blend in with us normal folks in the population. I still wonder whether he is a spy or not.

Knock knock. Who's there? Puu. Puu who? Puu huu. Puu huu who? Puu huu huu Putin.
1
Could this be reposted with Russian subtitles?
1
Brilliant! Now this is the kind of thing Florida Public Schools don't let their students learn about these days!
1
Capitalist hippie vibe?
1
Moral inversion or not, I actually admire President Zelenskyy's shrewdness with trump. Zelenskyy knows this fellow is purely a man of transaction.
1
@_Epsilon_ One day, maybe it will be the CIA telling China the top 3 reasons why Russia provoked NATO to retake the Swedish Viking territories.
1
@knopkaplay0507 China is definitely investigating Russia, including cyber vulnerabilities. Now that the West has softened up Russia's defenses, China is eyeing historical Manchuria.
1
@knopkaplay0507 Hello, my counterpart. Are evacuees from Kursk telling Muscovites it is time to end the special military operation in Donbass? What percentage of the evacuees just want this whole operation to be over?
1
@knopkaplay0507 I hope this message gets across. Ending the special military operation now is not a loss for Russia as a whole. It is better for everyone. Time to rebuild the medical and educational system to make life better for the average Russian.
1
@knopkaplay0507 That's a pretty boring thing to say. What the Russian government is saying is neither creative nor pragmatic.
1
@knopkaplay0507 If you really do work for the Kremlin, you are deeply sick and demented. The earth shivers in disgust with your every step.
1
Patience! 😃⚡🇫🇮💙🇺🇦

I like the technical analysis. Usually I would say the ruble broke below support, not broke through resistance. But if it broke below the support level, you are right that now the level of a penny has become a resistance level.
1
Proof that capitalism, as done by Americans and Europeans, is weirdly better for the environment than radical Marxism. What happened to the Aral Sea, Mr. Lenin?
1
Nice jacket. I almost thought you were dressed in a suit of chain mail. Would you have a bow or a pike in your hand?
1
I wonder if Russian soldiers get addicted to blowing stuff up and don't think about anything else (except vodka and drugs).
1
Two girls, one Trump. Pee tape Donny's behavior PROVES the Moscow pee tape is real!
1
I suspect stocks will be on a sugar high for the next two years, but I will be sniffing for smoke constantly. As soon as I see any sign of the fire, I'll be switching to a higher proportion of bonds and other assets.
1
YouToob "sensors" r gonna scratch their AI heads on that one....
1
The Russian Internet Research Agency definitely is afraid of you, Mark, and this message you are sending. Russia is incredibly racist and even don't allow Asian Russians to rent normal apartments in Moscow. Then there's Russian champagne bottles.... something the police use for dissidents.
1
White blue white!
1
@knopkaplay0507 eh? I am a rich, privileged American. I guess I shouldn't harshly judge the poor peasants of Russia who didn't have the same opportunities I did. Shame on me!
1
@knopkaplay0507 Zemlyak, I hope you try to make a difference to bring Putin to his knees. Only then will Mother Russia have any chance of being free again.
1
@knopkaplay0507 I am an American who likes to troll the Kremlin trolls by pretending to be a pro-Svoboda Rossiyi troll, even though I doubt such a thing exists. Sovoboda Rossiyi is not that coordinated. Sorry if I assumed you were a Kremlin-based troll.
1
@knopkaplay0507 cool. it just says свобода России in 4 lines: сво бода Росс ии I think it makes it easier to read, and Kremlin trolls seem to notice it sometimes, usually on Denys Davydov's channel. Mostly I try to get them anxious that Russians might not be so unified in support for Putin after all. But you're right that I must be a chthonic character. I'm still sore about what Russia did to my family/ ancestors in Finland.
1
And white blue white is the flag of the Freedom for Russia Legion, and also an anti-war / peace symbol in Russia.
1
@knopkaplay0507 wow that's really interesting! Thanks for sharing about what you experienced in DC. I've always been very polite with Russians in person when discussing these issues, both before 2022 and after. Yeah, I remember that there is quite a range of opinions. I used to volunteer to teach English somewhere and about half of the students were adult immigrants from Russia and other post-soviet countries like Ukraine. Had a couple interesting conversations. They depended a lot on Russian news sources, and back then the propaganda was not really as aggressive. Now I fear for their sanity since they probably still watch Russian media online even though they live here in the states.
1
@knopkaplay0507 I doubt they are better off. All sides are full of it, but some sides are definitely fuller of it than others--and actually I do mean that.
1
@knopkaplay0507 Did you ever come to the US to study? I apologize if anything we did ticked you off. We do want peace with Russia long term, and always have. I know you get paid for every reply I give. You are going to need the rubles, so I don't feel bad. I am not interested in any Russian propaganda. I know Denys is propaganda too, but he is so pessimistic about Ukraine's performance I find him pretty reliable.
1
@knopkaplay0507 alright, peace dude. I'm glad I at least come off as human. So do you. It turns out there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
1
@knopkaplay0507 Putin is angry in his bunker right now about this? Why? He's safe.
1
@knopkaplay0507 I said, Putin is apathetic to their plight. Their suffering doesn't matter to his goals. Sorry it has come to this, but everyone in Russia needs to wake up about Putin's responsibility for this situation.
