  15.  @dt4816hyg  they have huge budgets for mid life extensions, and basically strip their airframes down and rebuild them from a bare skeleton if needed. We don't tend to do this kind of heavy airframe hours extension maintenance.

  23. Not true. The F-35 is more capable than the Harrier in basically every measurable way, and utilises a completely different STOVL system that allows for far more thrust than Harrier could ever generate.
