When the world's largest oil producer decides to shut down a major pipeline connecting thrm to the world's fourth biggedt oil producer and ends drilling on federal land on day one of the administration that doesn't help lower the oil price does it? How does food get anywhere? Using fuel. It's a big factor in the cost of things.

  7.  @dinismantas7265  Europeans tend to be pretty demanding when it comes to what the US should do. Truth be told they could have stayed out of ww1 and ww2 and they would have been totally fine. Those soldiers did not benefit one bit from either war. The same goes for Canadians and ANZAC.

If you bring the country to its knees economically then the people will accept anyone who brings relative stability. Maybe Russia isn't some utopia but their standard of living is higher now than it has ever been so why would they clamour for a shake up? Also might I add the opportunity to have a western style Russia was blown in the 1990s. Rather than prop it up and provide EU style subsidies they allowed Russia to flounder and be taken over by "Russian" mafia and "Russian" oligarchs and their cousins in the US came over like vultures to make a quick buck. So you got Putin who put the country back on its feet using the tools at his disposal. So you want to destabilze Russia and think you're going to get some Russian Justin Trudeau to run the place? A western style leader wouldn't last a week in that country.

If the people you follow were wise they wouldn't throw their own borders wide open and then ask for their citizens to care about defending a foreign country. If Putin is involved with these parties can you blame him? They pitched a giant pumpkin across the plate for him.

  17. Poland is only doing well because they spent two decades living off the taxpayers of western Europe. Look at western Europe now and try and tell me it's improved. Now that Poland is up to speed the EU is going to try to turn it into a slum like France. Look what they did to Ireland. They benefitted for a time from all the freebies and now they are swamped with fake refugees and it's causing instability.

  23. Everyone thinks their country is special and that their neighbours are worse than them. Canadians think they are nicer than Americans. Not true. The Irish think the English are assholes. The English are no less friendly than the Irish. It's likely the same with Ukraine and Russia. They are most likely extremely similar.
