  40. Bernie Sanders is a reformist(a bad one at that) and is not a revolutionary. The guy still supports U.S. imperialism, he backed the UN sanctions of Iraq that led to the deaths of millions of Iraqis and devastated the country in the lead up to the 2003 invasion, he voted for the authorization of the war on Afghanistan and he supports the bombing campaign in Syria. The only reason I root for Sanders is because he makes the elites more uncomfortable, but as far as his politics go, he is pretty shitty. The fact is that, any of the significant gains for labor and social change in this country were won through hard fought class struggle and social struggle, it wasn't won by voting for the Democrats. And today there is no mass struggle going on, instead you have people who are pacified and who believe voting for Sanders is something revolutionary.
