  1. It's because many cultures (not just european) are racist themselves even if they experienced discrimination from other racial groups. People are sensitive to cultural issues and zeitgeist of their own groups. Bringing new people into that group can sometimes radically upset the balance and often times people are made to be aware of that via shaming from their own home groups. The reasons vary.

  5. Ok fine but please don't forget to pass your experiences as PoC to your children so least they are aware of their advantages in life and that it was another story for older generations. Too often mixed race people lack sympathy if they pass and end becoming the very thing that caused them to come into being.
