This question of how automation is used specifically to raise productivity from fewer workers is sure to enter the debates since it led to a massacre. It also shows the need for a revolution in mass education, a total change of curriculum to eradicate ignorance, superstition, racism and sexism. His manifesto also gives insight into the social changes in his family which is common to many families in America that have experienced loss in many forms. This would be my starting point, the family and what families need, we fortunately live in a time when science and building construction can merge into a self-producing homes making a job unecessary and a thing of the past.

  24. The strategy appears to be a Grand Social Experiment to get people to adjust to a lower standard of living in the aftermath of a crisis or disaster. Many people who cannot afford to reconstruct their homes and property following a disaster move because they lose the use of the home or land and it becomes property that just sits there producing and consuming nothing but what rots on it. People have to move on. Continue to live their lives looking for opportunities and jobs to reconstruct their lives is a compelling reason to downsize and accept a job paying a lower wage, work two jobs if necessary, in towns and communities where growth happens in one but not the other. Their Master Plan for the 21st Century is to have a workforce on demand for less the cost it takes to maintain a workforce, and unless life-threatening already the duration of work for employees working for less wages would be left to each individual employer not left up to the state or the federal government to decide the length of the working day, would be their political goal. They can get away with this for two reasons: 1., the State recognizes both people to have the same rights as owners, person A and B are equal, and 2., they have the Capital, we do not!

  25.  @larisal1500  Yes, while on the subject, the Constitution had a special place in the world of Colonialism as a revolutionary object that there was another way of life without a king or monarch, to which that document restricts. Some 242 years later that very same Constitution as once a revolutionary object is trampled on by very large and complex capitalist institutions that, instead of holding the country together, it is splitting it apart. We might want to consider the Consitution and the type of government resting on it as too weak to defend a nation from forces its writers never foresaw.

Wall Street bankers do not pay taxes. Oil and Big Industry pay no taxes! Trump pays no taxes. The taxes are for you to pay with true grit and pure sweat, pay it without a peep, Earnest. It all comes out of your pocket. The cost of empire, is all yours Earnest. The cost of slowing down economic growth in the world does not come cheap. The only way less will be taken out of your dollar Earnest, is when the empire stops slowing growth down here and everywhere . I have no illusions about who bears the cost of empire, do you?

  30. Spoken like a true white proletarian. As long as black wages are kept low white wages cannot rise is the implicit social policy formula of the neoliberal wage system in the US. This positioning of the political parties in relation to that policy on wages has forced through its facade a contradiction only white workers can over come, that within the wage system white wages can only rise alongside black wages rising at the same time. As a white worker in America overcoming this dilemma of perpetual low wages not keeping up wth prices and profit earnings of big corporations and Wall Street vulture capital firms but rather indirectly suppressed by the use of low black wages in order to keep white workers from demanding higher wages and unionizing is a text book example of what employers do to defeat a working class movement from ever emerging in the history of class struggles. The standard of living will always decline for white middle class workers dragged down by the lower standard of living of black and brown, yellow or red workers, getting together on this dilemma is the only way to break the neoliberal model.

Are they talking about Medicare 4 All? US war games in the South China Sea with Harris cementing allies in Asia against China, and the response from the Russians, Iranians and Chinese to the war games is more war games in the Persian Gulf. War plans in the making in the post-Afghanistan period. Once again the American public will be asked to make the sacrifice and forego Medicare 4 All. Harsh social realities at home.

The set up of the economy is permanent, cannot be changed, and the set up is the way Nature intended is made in the foregoing argument. The way we live, work and produce, is natural or created by God. If you cannot change the relations of production than change the relations of distribution and the result is socialism. When investigate the relations of production; there we find the extraction of wealth comes from the extraction of human muscle, tissue and bone, occurring within a fixed time period. If this cannot be changed then the socialists will never remove the extractor of value from human labor in production. Exploitation is never removed from the way we live, work and produce and the people who do the working see in socialism and socialists an enemy. This is why being a socialist places you on the wrong side in the struggle working people have against their primary exploiter(s) and the other workers doing the dirty work of extracting more work from workers for the same payment for the boss. Production can be changed and it will be changed because it is also a consumption process. Not only consuming live human beings ground down to the ground from overwork and exhaustion. It will change and must because it is a consumption process of Nature. Nature recovers slowly but can change rapidly into a state of inhabitability by small degrees, one degree too much, human habitats will die.

The governor of Wisconsin has more leadership and common sense than the Wisconsin Supreme Court overuling his cancellation of elections...unbelievable, that a right wing court has great power over all the citizenry of a single state you can imagne the US Supreme Court having that kind of power to cancell an executive presidential order if a specific national act of a new presient does not agree with the Supreme Court Justices. Dissolving an institution like the Supreme Court would mea a dismantling of the Justice Department, which is not so bad an idea considering the Alt-Right is still actively dismantling FDR's New Deal and Social Security through Trump, that which they call the "Administrative State". In 1865 the Supreme Court was so partial to slaveowners it ruled blacks were not even human! Today one Supreme Court rules exposure to contaminated coronavirus public places to the Public Citizenry is okay with them, does not regard its citizens human either, not much has changed sicne 1865, an attack that is not made of bombs and rockets but made through an enforcement of the law. What needs to be done here is push Schumer and Pelosi aside from controlling the party, an internal revolt, by a new left made up of Bernie's movement and fight back the blows of the Supreme Court justices of the Trump administration through a take over the democratic party, become the direct opponent of the GOP and the far right wing of the GOP, for the removal and election of a new president nominate a new candidate and if it were me in charge of a workers left caucus wing of the democratic party I would nominate one of the more progressive governors or one of the more left mayors to run against Trump. A long as there is a far left caucus big enough to win seats from the progressives and center right democrats running on a Medicare 4 All platform will liekly be a winner and Trump can be defeated. Thanks to Bernie, he built a large enough group for a left caucus in the party, they should drop their campaign goals and form a left wing faction in the party and push the progressives and democrats out of the way, for a direct fight with Trump. Its time the enemy be face to face with the working class and get all these proxy opponents out of the way.

In effect every generation advances no further than the previous one and under the two economic systems America alternates the same two character traits appear in people. Bullies under monopoly capitalism and thieves, liars, cheaters, under competition. Never are people in America free to develop their potential on a personal and on a social level. Prohibiting social and individual progress are the two modes of work that appear under competitive capitalism and monopoly capitalism. This is why the US ranks poorly (17th) on a number of social realities, as in fertility in men and women, income, education, social well-being, personal contentment and happiness. The rest of the world will excell in these areas solving concrete problems through a cooperative model of work, finance, trade and commerce. This will happen because monopoly capitalism functions without competitors but is dependent on two factors, wage-labor and a mass of consumers. Competitive capitalism is dependent on many competitors and a mass of consumers and wage-labor for its work. The monoply stage is broken down into parts creating a comeptitive stage and the market in a competitive stage inevitably leads to a new monopoly formation of capitalism as a never -ending cycle. Capitalism is dynamic up to a point but it is cyclical by nature. Personally, I think it is a played out and boring social system that produces miserable and horrible people, social barbarism, superstition, and ideology in society and fantastic fantasies for escapists. Enablers and escapists are the sub character traits people acquire under capitalism, are formed in the family and then socialized in education.

If workers ‘not one worker’ but all workers, do not like this deal that a CEO compensation would rise to 23 million while the workers struggle to survive on the wages paid, they should then break the deal, break the social contract, do not exchange labor-power for money, and you will break the social structure that encourages this type of exchange. An alternative exchange would be a share of the profits from the sale of the goods made or sold and 51% ownership of the company itself. This is theory. Putting into practice is the struggle. The theory is simple but the practice is hard. There is no other way to accomplish a new economic system and a new way of make of living for all people in the society but through a mass action. If someone has some other way to accomplish a social change of this magnitude, I’d love to hear about it.

The exploiting social classes are consuming the greatest share of national budgets. This is happening in all G7 nations, leaving the working classes of these nations desperately poor and unable to pay their debts. It is a coordinated action by a united 1% and a highly organized financial system that the people have no other weapon greater with which to confront the 1% than with mass occupations, disruptions and demonstrations. The rate of consumption of the 1% is directly linked to the wars in Ukraine and Palestine. Biden’s government spending is through the roof, absolute wasteful unproductive consumption, in pursuit of a new world war for a world order suitable for the exploiting nations is a crazy reason to go to war! So it must be stopped and You have to stop 20 million exploiters or they will stops you!

  45. Bravo, my young friend...I agree with you totally; Neither party are humane on this issue. It means that may never vote for either party. I am not in agreement with the policies or lack thereof, of the two parties. There is no other political entity I can vote for, is what it means. Change is made impossible through the ballot and the inaction on reforming the system is decidedly not the position of the two parties or things would be different. And change must come to those border states or their methods, anything but idyllic, spreads to all states as a permanent feature of society. A solution is a real and honest restoration of Central America for them to live their way of life.

  47. The protest signs should read: Overwork for Them and Underpayment for Us. This implies there is a surplus produced that bosses accrue from the overwork of the students. Overwork and underpaid does not describe the exact relationship workers have to their bosses. This is important because how you express your struggle tell bosses how weak you really are because bosses understand the real relationship while the workers-students do not. Its secondary importance is that non-student workers can identify with the exploitation they experience to the exploitation the students experience. If students are going to be serious about their struggle they should really get their heads wrapped around what that struggle is about for all workers. By not making it clear and concise and universal they are wasting their time and will lose every battle they undertake with their bosses.

The political left are corrupt and stupid and the bosses are corrupt and clever. Bosses knew the strike would win and they would lose. So they ran to Congress for help and willingly the Congress complied. Four republicans voted the Congress stay out of the strike, most democrats voted Congress intervene..that should tell you something about who your enemies are. Had the railroad workers struck for healthcare and paid leave they would have gotten the support of all workers in the same boat as they forcing Congress to pass healthcare for all.
