  1. Governor Kemp decided to punish Gwinnett County Georgia Election officials for not having their act together. For it seems it is the F-Troop of the Electoral System and not the only one nationally. A few Florida counties and even some in New York Brooklyn that after every election there are problems with who voted or are not voting and the entire ballot has to be counted from beginning to end three times. The consequences of their screw-ups, if any, which there are, makes constituents feel like they lost an election by cheat and they begin knocking on the governor's door to do something about it. What can the governor do to people who are irresponsible? He punishes them but that does not remove the irresponsibility of election officials; it might but not likely. One bad policy after another culminates into voter suppression. What could have the left done to remove the incompetence and correct voting problems in those counties that are mismanaged nationally?

America is loaded with people that have strange ideas and views its hard to imagine anyone of them can come together in agreement of something. Even then the life sentence he gets in a state trial is the highest penalty under the insanity plea. Luigi is not an insane person as we all know. Will not is my guess plea guilty. It will be interesting to see how the Law channels this case to where it does not end up in a national restructuring of the healthcare industry that states can decide to be a part of or not,---under the presumption of State’s Rights.

What did the left do when these same vets showed up in Virginia armed to protest Northam's gun laws on MLK day 2020? Nothing. The left should have been there arm and arm with the Iraq vets. Biden was then and is now in the pocket of Raytheon Lockheed Martin. Grumman, GE, Exxon Mobil, the largest oil dealer to the Pentagon. Biden formerly head of the arms services committee then became VP to Obama, hand-picked by Obama to initiate another war, the war we are in today, the war with the Russians to build up Ukraine. The next group of Veterans sent to war are not going to come back as close as it came with the assassination of Solemeini of Iran, because now they will be fighting entire nations in the Middle East. His America First policy puts all of Europe in the untenable position to choose between the US or Russia and China. With half of the British parliament invested in Hawei, England, France and Germany slides into a deep stagnation with Trump’s trade war on China.  As for Trump, he is the wrong man for the job. Wrong, because his path is not to deconstruct the arms industry and wrench the grip the arms industry has of our government, his path is to become an autocrat. Undo all the wrong wrong-doers prosecuted by the liberal establishment and create a fealty of the justice department. The people supporting him never went to war. An autocrat is natural to them, they are chiliasts, believers in the second coming of Christ, God, Family and Country. They are the NASCAR enthusiasts, rich, spoiled Americans, country music stars, with pro-fascist leanings.  Only Bernie opposed the Iraq War. Only Bernie opposes the misuse of the military, opposes invasions, opposes the arms industry, opposes industries with the highest carbon footprint. Vote Bernie if you are going to vote, it’s the last chance to restore America back to its original roots of American progressivism.

  7. ...when you look at how FORD, GM, etc., refines the activity of workers in their factories into detailed operations this internal management process has an effect on how work is organized outside of the factories... externally other businesses and industries depend on communities where workers live on the continuous output of cars, trucks, etc., even if it does raise climate temperature promoting more mining, more drilling, and higher emissions. It appears the transformation of an entire way of life that has us trapped in a deadly cycle needs to happen. The nature of work in America today is no longer defined by skill, not by essentiality of the work, nor by the quality of the product, for the survival of the community and society.

  21. Its an important strike to support. Everyone is feeling it they honk horns going by. The fall out from this strike on other businesses will be significant. It may even wane the support of the strike. It would be in the office of the AG to use anti trust laws to break up monopolies. Part of the problem of permitting capital to grow so big is that the extreme monetary wealth accrued does not come without labor getting poorer and I believe the CEOs know this. The kind of person inside the AG office of the prez, either allows monopolies to form or prohibits the size corporations can get is the decision of that person. In the eventual showdown the extreme wealth is to their advantage as a war chest to wait out a strike. A parts division stoppage is critical in countering the ability to add more into the war chest. In the 1930s the employers had the right to close the factory and deprive work to workers in the battle for higher wages instead of a fat war chest of capital. Attitudes have changed. Public Opinion would frown on the CEOs if they shut production down. They earned too much. At least, 700 times greater in income of the average wage earner in one year. Not to mention the bennies on the side and golden parachutes. What is significant are the independent auto shops and mechanics inconvenienced by the strike and their customers waiting for repairs to get done. Probably some 40 million people involved with independent mechanics and car shops are going to get slammed with no work. They will be interviewed more and more in mainstream media. Cut in a way that the interviews work on behalf of the media conglomerates invested in GM, FORD, and STELLANTIS ( the word origin is Stello, to brighten the stars). Mass media reporting was even before this strike anti-working class. The fall out has a ripple effect on the secondary work force. Auto workers want the tier system inside the factory system abolished. Fine. There is a tier system outside of the car maker’s factories replicated in society. Job listing ranked by their annual salary these jobs are middle management jobs over a crew of workers. Many firings to come. Jobs that pay more for more responsibility which in the end means less bossing around work the employer has to do themselves is done by workers bossing around other workers. All of these intricate and detailed oriented relationships that look like moving up the ladder are built on extracting the most work from people inside of a definite time period in a tier system of jobs.

The creation of a labor-market and the creation of money markets is what capitalism does as a system in foreign countries using the military for this purpose. American workers will learn class struggle politics through experience. Of course, this will cause working people to scramble around and compete for jobs eventually the average wage will creep up to attract workers and the workday further prolonged where those workers found a job creating surplus value for the boss will not be curtailed because of unionization. What is more important is tendency of the State to maintain the preeminent status of the CEO in society and treat where it surfaces exploitation with kid gloves. CEO’s are the leaders of how we work and live in a system of work and production in society that is of their making is way more important than the individual moments of failures of that system. All individual parts of the medical establishment have individual workforces of their own, some number in the thousands of people employed, are working to produce profits and giving up their productivity to enrich a single competing company among an array of competitors, are not getting rich themselves in the process, they remain, a working class deprived of the necessities this medical establishment buys and sells. Cuomo has not discovered that the resistance to this system has its own peculiar form. A form of resistance that builds itself up within the system of wealthy social classes and in doing so, destroy that class system. This contradiction is not preventable, rather it is, predictable and the health establishment in its quest for higher profits, is the place where a CEO is only a CEO in the interest of its shareholders just happens to be where this internal contradiction reveals itself in brute and barbaric form.

One cannot be treasonous to an object, a thing endowed with social relations, just because people dress funny and interact through force i.e., the Law, Justice, capitalism and everything in it is still an object. People are objects in a capitalist economy, and as long people like being treated as an object Trump has been very consistent in delivering that treatment. Nothing treasonous there. Can we establish there is different between a county and economic system when we need to understand confusing situations. A county is a subject, made up of human beings, with emotions. We interact, we need each other for survival. On the other hand, a capitalist economy is a world of objects. In a society, a person is a subject and in a capitalist economy a person is an object, if that person lives in place that moves matter from here to there, by means of representational objects than that person is an object and subject simultaneously. An incomplete individual, partially free and partially enslaved, partially sane and partially insane, a half assed copy, a shitty representation of true freedom, a fraud, an object of ridicule and of praise, a partially developed person and impartially under developed, hence the expression, 'he's all brawn and no brains'. Lol. Truth tellers who lie. If we do not accept the difference between a subject and an object hypocrisy becomes a universal norm in the society. Who's words can you trust then if you cannot even trust your own? On the other hand, Trump is not treasonous to the country and has not thus far, betrayed anyone. As a mass collection of people -objects in society, the treatment is the same, everyone is equally an object. But people-objects annihilate each other, you can't keep them in the same room because they are abusive to each other; they target each other, hence 'the exploitation of man by man'. I see nothing treasonous about a capitalist breaking down old institutions to expand capitalism. If the profits are in the heart of the Communist party of China, Trump will find a seat in it. Thus far, as an ailing capitalism, Trump tries to resuscitate a dying working class and seeks business where ever business can expand to revitalize the working class. Far too late in my opinion but be that as it may. If anything he is loyal to his objects; he's one sided but true, therefore, not loyal to his objects as subjects. Americans are in crisis because capitalism as an object stifles the desire of the subject to become something more than an object. Every social institution is designed to treat people as objects and they are doing their job well. The Police, the Courts, the Congress, the Church, the Employers, Big Industry, Big Pharma, the Banks, Big Media, Big Ranchers and the Big Farmers, the Big Landlords, are sticking to their business and philosophy. The individual subjects are the ones with the problem, they are unable to stick to their business because they lost what their business was. The reason for life and living for all is lost. The vocation and historic mission to converts objects into subjects is lost, the people-objects are dazed and confused and still treated as objects by a capitalist economy as a working class they can only find this freedom in each other. Self- Emancipation. Freeing the subject from being or becoming an object is the historic mission or vocation of the working class. Like the religious go to church every Sunday -- the working class should be building an economic system for themselves.

  40. I disagree the train derailment was an unplanned catastrophic event not when trains are 210 cars long and are crewed by two rail-workers. Not when the brake systems are antiquated. All that is deliberate choice by the management of the corporation on how they conduct their work. Norfolk Southern imposed a work plan that does not meet up to the safety standards and never notified EPA what they are carrying. This disaster is another example of workplace hazards in America.

  41. America will have to undergo a political revolution carried by a new economic model if it wants to get out of this crisis. The professionals are calling this a demographic collapse. Essentially, a combination of social transformations, an aging population, low birth rate, and the loss of a working class have changed society and the social institutions are disintegrating from their own incompetencies in dealing with the new realities. The right wing answers to this crisis have failed. Hitler had 13 years to resolve the crisis in Germany. Italy had Mussolini, Spain had Franco the least important dictators to promise to keep the trains running, all failed, Trump will fail too, and for European governments to swing to the right,---their young people learned nothing of the past! By this measure there is no future out of the crisis; there is barbarism before there will be socialism. At least back in the 30s there was a movement offering the working class a choice between socialism OR barbarism. Today there is no choice.

Whatever share of the economic surplus fell to the working class over the last 65 years barely varied above the value of labor-power. For a time it appeared there was an equal distribution of wealth but that was just the appearance. The 2007 Recession forced wages below the value of labor-power and increased work time per worker in society. American working people are continually being taken of the true worth under the guise of sharing the economic surplus to the other social classes and the state.

A Trump return would be give the advantage to the far right, a revenge administration and civil war between the two fought out in courts, streets, wherever, but the working class not a part of Washington’s preoccupation with themselves in that internal war, have only one social enemy in society. The police surveilling and monitoring working class communities and that is enough of an obstacle that organizers do not need any more enemies in the Public realm. All organizing is infiltrated and there are enough grounds to sue the police/FBI in many states for that infiltration and obstruction as a suppression of rights that should not be exclusively relied on as a fight back only but as a part of the larger movement that interjects what the working class as a whole wants from the billionaire class.

  50. Growing up as a kid in America is extremely hard. For the ones who's families were torn apart of necessity for survival the causes resolve themselves into resentment of loss and never forgiven.  Kids have no rights in society! They are property not individuals, property of their parents is how the Senate and lawmakers view and regard society's children. Naturally you treat kids bad they are going to react badly. Mass shootings reflect the depth of the social disorder of neglect and abuse in American insitutiitions. The State has become their parental authority owing to the social transformation of the family. The family that went from Father Knows Best to Shameless in a span of 64 years, one generation of incarcerated former youths. The state, the laws and the houses are no longer compatible to the changes in the family. Youths should be constructing and rebuilding sustainable homes. Replacing the old infrastructure with self-producing structures. Homes that harvest water and contained sewage, thermal wear, cooking and heating, wind electricity and homes that produce food is what the family of 2019 need for survival. Kids are partial citizens, a natural born right does not give them all citzenship rights.  Kids learn from other places more information about the world and themselves than they do from their parents in this increasingly technological age. If something is not done about that the information coming from darker sources on this planet can infiltrate their undeveloped minds and contaminate their being. In typical fashions, lawmakers will propose censoring laws and other lawmakers will propose sanctioning companies and businesses when in reality it is the neglect of youths causing the problem of mass shootings.
