  25.  @rohanmarkjay  Yes, i know...isn’t a spectacle of the bourgeoisie (US multinational corporations) to react to what it fears the most,---Bolshevism, the parlor variety it lives with and the Russian experiment it cannot live with. The problems and conflicts of today are necessary for the realization of goals established in 1919 or rooted therein. There at the conference at Versailles the European bourgeoisie of the dominant colonial empires, already industrialized made plans for the century and thereafter in perpetuity. The Plan: Eradicate any opposition to nationalization and expand capitalism. Pretty simple mission. This coming from the experiences with the Paris Commune in France; the revolutions of Germany; culminating with the Russian Revolution and decade later the Chinese Revolution, the world colonial bourgeoisie was surrounded by communism taking hold in societies still in their peasant pre-capitalist formations and a lot of the blood relations were expropriated by the masses. Contempt for the masses was forever cemented in the breast of the bourgeoisie. They want to recover that missed opportunity Bolshevism in their view, robbed. The conference observed this fact and hitherto the more anti-communist a ruler could be the more support they got. US General Austin is in the Philippines concretizing plans for military support to the son of Ferdinand Marcos. The Philippines is on track to becoming a sentry state for the US follows the plan of 1919 perfectly, we can expect nothing short or long of this coming from the US State Department by way of foreign policy. The Good Neighbor days are history the US ensures the pre-capitalist societies in the East get industrialized by America’s related bourgeoisie of Europe’s bourgeoisie. Of course this means the American working class is no longer industrialized. American society becomes a society of a lot of lawyers and a lot of hamburger flippers who consume mass quantities of products made in other countries. Objectively, Russia was first to model industrialization for pre-capitalist societies to follow, the split in communist movements hinged on supporting bourgeoise wars for the west. But for the pre-capitalist societies in the East the colonial empires not coming in and industrializing their countries for themselves was appealing. Africa, India and Russia are intimate and the US gets a cold shoulder. A missed opportunity that would employ American workers for decades and generations given we are talking about markets of billions of people. That’s big. You can skip over capitalism and go straight into socialism was Lenin’s April Thesis that contested the Marxian linear growth of capitalism before they can develop socialism. Western bourgeoisie takes this very seriously. Anyway, there can be no progress without deviation is a law of nature and we are not genetically modified people yet. Bearbock must have an encounter with Bolshevism and the Russian Revolution, hidden in the family tree,---that is connected to 1919 somehow...I do not know her family history. Russophobia is a real phobia. It could be purely ideological as in the US or materially and biologically relatable in the offspring of the bourgeoisie as in Europe.

  26. I recall a NY Times article , Monday, October 29,1979: Decline in Productivity in the US, spurs intense debate and study...the point is, productivity in the US in 2025 has made strides. This comes from the last 50 years of lengthening the working day and shortening the necessary portion of the workday that productivity measured by its value creation is high. If you were to get into the mind of Musk or Bezos, they worry less about losing their power to workers working more than the work time needed to keep them on a payroll as a workforce; Musk and Bezos do not care if the value their workers create is greater than the value Bezos and Musk pays them, or their workers give them more value in return than the value their wages can buy. The main concern and this is what the article is about, reveals the logic of capitalism, is the amount of use-values the workers consume during the workday must always be smaller than the amount of use-values the workers create. A surplus must always be left over. Were the workers to work only for their own self-consumption, there would be nothing left over. The last 50 years, the continuous testing and observation, medication and indoctrination , not to mention study after study on working people for the modification of their work behavior was to lengthen the working day and shorten the necessary portion of the working day with technology, to transform money into capital. What a waste to have thrown so much capital resources into improving the ways a 1% can accumulate capital. If youtubers do not produce three videos a week they lose monetization and, therefore, income modifies the content the youtuber brings to the audience. Were the youtubers to produce content they want they would not produce a surplus of videos in order to monetize their product. So forget about the social conspiratorial analysis of capitalism and use the science and logic of capitalism against itself is the lesson here.

  29. Venezuelan migrants in the US are the innocent victims in this armed struggle the US State Department pushes in Latin America and at Venezuela in particular. Ukrainian people are innocent victims of an armed struggle the US State Department pushes against Russia. America is the cause of the world moving in a multipolar direction that America cannot do anything to stop, except total nuclear annihilation. Given the US is the only nation to have actually used nuclear weapons on another nation the world arms itself to the teeth with nukes to deter and contain aggressive US policy. US sanctions on the oil sector of the V’s economy is aimed to slow down the growth of Venezuela. The employees in the State Department do the work of pre-occupying the agenda, so that workers leaders, trade union leaders, do not get wise to the schemes to make powerless Venezuela’s economy, fragmented and atomized, isolated, deprive the working people of Venezuela of their own gross national product, and then set up the situation to blame it all on the person they don’t like, childish, but it works to get over on a working class stuck in an individual mode of thought, in turn, this policy creates and provides the purpose, need and objective reasons for a revolution. I would imagine officials in the State Department are aware the potential for a true working class revolt if they are seen connected to events, so they must operate covertly through surveillance, secrecy, detection and deterrence, and have the media evoke fear, use drug addiction and conspiracy theories by secret societies and police to keep a working class fragmented, racist among its own class ranks, sexist among its own men and women and families, and thinking false concepts to keep the working class from politicizing its own existence. What a job to be a state department official but it is easy to do when you are enclosed and tucked away from society and never see the negative social and mortal effects of the work they do as an official. People in the beltway are desensitized human beings through their own isolation from society.

  30. Buttigieg is a DNC-Trump mole or stooge like Juan Giaudo. Its a good thing hindsight is 20/20.  Had the Sandinistas in the 70's trained the Central American people on how to use arms and military tactics, a training school of their own. The Central American people would not be in the condition they re in now. They would been able to confront the American trained military and give them a real fight for their money. Hindsight is 20/20. I do blame Daniel Ortega for not building a People's Army like Trotsky built the Red Army. A secret army that today would have come out as a victorious army catching the right wing forces by surprise and expelling the US from their country. It is more dignified to fight than it is to be corralled like cattle headed to an American Gulag. Reasons why this never happened might be valid, but that the indigenous people were left to their own devices without training and arms is a failure of the left. Its a betrayal of revolutionary principals. They would have had 30 years in which the children of the Central Americans fleeing the homeland would have been ready to fight. Armed insurrection was good only for getting powwer but once in power they should have gone to work in preparing the people of what was to come in the future. The Central Americans do not have a Simon Bolivar or a Jose Marti in their history but could have. This ought to have been the long term project of the left rather than to be laser focused on the immediate moment. I say this because the US is a major military power that can destroy in a heartbeat all the work the Sandinistas accomplished in building a decent and independent society in Nicaragua. They should have expanded into Honduras, Gautemala and El Salvador building very queity an underground military force from Columbia to Chiapas. Think how the Drug Cartels would have been suppressed if there were an armed peasantry. This generation would not be suffering to the extent they are today had this been a plan. When I see Honduran troops shoveling indigenous people around it pains me to see them comply. Like the Jews, except the Warsaw Ghetto Jews in Germany, who did fight the Nazis, the majority of Jews willingly complied with the Nazis that none of them had guts to fight back. Psychologically this instills a mindset of victimization becoming the victimizer as we see Jews doing to Palestinians today. This is a holocaust of great magnitude and it falls directly on the left for permitting such an environment to come about. The Spanish Left in Central America should have learned the example of the American Lincoln Brigade who fought Franco and the Catalonian anarchists who fought the fascists and made Catalonia the richest province in all of Spain because they fought the fascists and armed the peasants and workers. Not to mention when looking at footage, the Honduran military looks like an easy army to beat. There is something so denigrating and immoral about living under the boot of Washington that the feelings of Central Americans are going to one explode into a form of barbarism sometime in the future when these victims become adults.

  46. The Libyan Model is the reason a Climate Crisis exists. It has side-effects that should come wth a warning; a Surgeon General and the National Geologic Survey's public advisory on Permanent War, names and identifies all the social-psychological-physical effects of permanent war, as likely to create a social world of 99% of the human species in desperation and deprivation of all material resources and subsistence and only 1% of socially alienated human beings with a marked propensity toward nihilistic self-destruction in power. Is that the world you want for your money? You could be building homes that can withstand natural disasters and eradicating mass ignorance with mass education if your lacking in ideas on how to spend your money. US GDP is a mere 2%, very weak industrial power. Its only asset is its military, very strong. The strong depends on the weak for its funding. Industrial power is weak in America because China is stronger industrially and Capital goes where capital can make itself stronger, bigger, and can hire the most people for less the cost. Being militarily strong and left industrially weak is not cheap for labor and the cost of permanent war is paid by money that could make America industrially strong and raise the standard of living for labor from what thery are now. Trillions going into war is irrational spending and from a rational labor point of view the wars are a means only to preserve the rule of the rich who decide the wars but never fight them.  The Libyan model subjugates the American taxpayer to a theory, a capitalist theory of permanent war and permanent revolution, a never ending cycle of violence. Its an example of what a theory of permanent war would produce for those using it as the official policy of the US, to preserve their political and economic power.

  47. Military spending accelerates inflation and will entail spending cuts for the working class because the rich do not pay taxes. Proof the rich do not pay taxes was evidenced when they made public Trump’s tax returns. The cost of war, bombs, the material and the resources that could have gone into the economy for Americans are spent on war in Ukraine. There is no return on capital to society. When the war ends the industries that produced for the war end too. There is no long-term benefit A world war involves many nations this war qualifies as a world war that puts Europe in a very bad spot having to choose between super powers (the US versus China) and playing the superpowers off each other is never a good idea for Europe. Europeans are more acclimated by socialism. Retirement without poverty versus Poverty at old age in the US which is high is the difference in quality of life between Americans and European working classes. The war in Ukraine itself is absurd from the standpoint of gross domestic product per nation in Europe, Italians would be more dangerous than Russians if you push to the extreme the logic of the State Department. Europe is likely to go east with the BRIC nations going east. Do American workers know they are exploited at a higher rate by capitalism and capitalists than European workers are? American workers are spontaneous responding to the crisis thrown at them with grace until they reach a point and implode from the stress. COVID, mass firings, inflation, cuts while war spending continues drives domestic prices up. Fed uses rates to push prices down forces wages lower. In other words, workers are getting paid money that has less value and can’t by much and would buy even below survival. The Fed is causing this to happen with higher interest rates. Matters are made no better with spending cuts to social security, hence, poverty at old age. A fight back is needed; take a stand in this struggle and draw a red line against the encroaching juggernaut of the whole system.
