Acting as an agent of the UAE. The sovereignty of the American people means nothing to these people. They re not even the same kind of people America represents!

@laoben1231 LIAR!

Not very a good prospect for humanity when deeds do not match words. In the two most powerful nations in the world, socialism and democracy, are pretenses.

I turned off the sound on this video to watch the images only. The narration is propaganda. I can think for myself thank you CNBC.

Both these "A-Holes" are old enough to remember decades of military defense budgets still being paid on the backs of the American people. But when it comes to the country going into debt to help the American people these guys pull out the Austerity Programs.

I'd expect there will be land battles and Indian wars in South Dakota too...with development encroaching on reservation and private farming land.

Assenine comment.

A fine example of how powerless the American people are about withholding money from governments that violate their own principals as tax payers that the power only comes from CEOs (individuals) to move institutions in the direction they want the institutions to move. Money is the power and the people who produce it are powerless to decide where it goes.

Another Stanford/Harvard class-based privileged politician deciding the fate of our lives.

I cannot write too long on here because people will not read it. Attention span is short in the web. So let me just say this... Why only Amazon workers should have a union when 102 million working people in the US should have a union? Situation is pretty desperate for them too.

... I guess poverty was too tough for him he had to expire himself.

Hey, money is money. It arises out of a commodity. The commodity does not care if you are legal or not! What they are stealing is the average rate of return on capital the commodity brings to its first owner. To bring this economic behavior to an end than manufacturers should stop making commodities and go back to making products. Money is a commodity and goods are commodities but money is the only commodity able to play the role of money. The other commodities have to end up sooner or later into someone’s hands. If they could talk they would say “Buy Me” sensing your presence. All of them want to become money the question in whose hands does the money with its special powers become.

Angry Combat Wombat senseless rebuttal. Where is the butchering in the two worded sentence; "Assenine comment."

That's it Blanken failed. War with China is imminent. A human concern has become a pretext to the state department.
2
The "little people" making good use of their jobless free time threw a sucker punch at the investor class, a band of whiners and panzies, calling in the federales and lock up the little people! Sign of things to come when everyone can play the game and these guys are crying foul the little people have no right to make money! Good for the "little people".
2
Too bad there is not a third candidate alternative who could be taken seriously.

Well, at least he knew not to run over the innocent Public.

It does not appear the recoveries are long enough in the US economy to make up for the recessions. Also it is quite more likely since stocks trading volume has risen that employers need fewer workers to produce the same rate of profit or better . Either way, not a good picture for American working people, in fact, it’s more of an assault on working people by the Fed.

If there were not a flag behind the podium this conference would be the same as a Mafia head holding a conference of the families on foreign business.
2
The revelation makes the last 40 years of US military history nothing more than brute imperialism. Everything from the first Bush invasion in Kuwait to the murder of Koshoggi, stagnant wages, bail outs, tax cuts, to present day polices, relations with Israel, the UK, all built on total lies using the name of the American people and polluting the mind of the country so that a Military Industrial Complex can hold the world hostage.
2
I do not think the employers are desperate. Productivity is high. If anything the shelves in stores are stocked with massive quantities of goods. Before the pandemic employers fired workers. Job wages after the pandemic are lower than the jobs workers had before the pandemic. Frankly, I think employers (companies) who hire more than 300 workers do not want to hire. Why should they hire when profits are really good. Workers are getting the shaft, ---that is my opinion.
2
@devioux4082 Your comment is an admission that foriegn aid is used to project a global military dominance. Imperialism. Contrary to the popular belief, aid is used to help the impoverished in foreign countries should be going to the impoverished in the US. Your assertion is premised on a competition for global dominance between US and China. The same premise the Cold War projected against the Russians. Have you not seen the world is not the same world as the 1950s?
2
What is your solution then?
2
@wl2486 That it does. Prairie Fire. The structure of our creativity is framed in the suppression and preservation of trial and error. We try, fail and fail better.

America, Florida in particular, is also home to millions of parasites looking to make a buck on the backs of the dead.

Your individual right does not supersede the interest of society. Problem here is that the unvaccinated are in no position to determine what is in the best interest of the society in which they live. Their right to not be vaccinated stops at the door in the same way an alcoholic's right to be drunk is limited to the home or bar but not behind the wheel where they encounter society. The unvaccinated are a collection of individual people with opinions and attitudes about their freedoms which, in effect, does nothing to allow people to go about their lives without facing harm. Their freedom does not put food on the table or keep the children clothed, in fact, if anything the longer they obstruct the progress of society from going forward eradicating diseases the worse off the children are, as time for them does not stand still, but time for the unvaccinated is at its selfish end.

If women want freedom in Afghanistan the American military is not the way to get it. You don't seek to be freed from the same person who enslaves you. If you need an example,--- look at how women in Chile are winning their freedom.
1
Too late to be the champion of the American people. Trump forsakened the people when he denied the science and called workers criminals protesting for a higher wage. History destroys Trump.
1
Pressure at home will break the US from NATO and NATO can fight this on her own. New business for arms manufacturers will not improve the lives of Americans.

CNBC has to be getting a kick out these comments!

There is a lot of water that can be siphoned and boiled in large quantity and enough bodies to make a large caldron and retain purified water.
1
The Fed will stop prices from rising by encouraging you to put your money in the bank and keeping it there until wages catch up.
1
Which means the price of stock are way above the values of the goods they represent and with inflation there is no chance of equalizing those values with prices. The value to price ratios are out of sync with the total amount of working time goods need to be made and can only be equalized by a crash. For working people they are looking at longer hours of work in their struggle against inflation. For bondholders higher interest rates cushions value depreciating in the bond relative to inflation and for people with savings the higher rates is a benefit. For investors and borrowers the rates set higher makes the cost of money more expensive and if it become cheaper to live off one's own assets than to borrow against them the demand for luxury goods will fall, where most of the social labor has been going in the last five decades, we can expect a massive layoff in these markets. For would be new home owners the real estate market has buyers with a lot of money pushing house prices higher limiting the number of buyers,--are pushed out of the market and end up in less expensive homes in more remote areas of the country encouraging car dependence and accelerating the rate of climate change. A pretty dismal picture.

@gammaraypotatoes3307 What world do you live in?

@michaelseeker9680 Is 'you can't buy alcohol without an ID...' is that all you have to hang your reason on?
1
@tikofann5884 Republicans are no different. Just as bad. You are ruled by a duopoly.
1
@michaelseeker9680 What you really want is the United States of Pretoria. An Apartheid System so the highest office of the land remains white but you cannot admit it...so you speak in code following the Nazi ideological narrative.

DHS has no leader! ...a body will not do anything without its head.

Four more years of Trump and America would have looked like what India is now. India will have socialized medicine before the US because of its collapse. When the hospital system dies socialized medicine is born.

A four decade long of weakening government so that it hobbles on one leg is what the Squawk Box stands for when their talking head says "declining government". The four decades long of weak government has brought us to this point of a failed economy. The big corporations have extracted every tooth from Uncle's Sam's mouth and left him with no dentures with which to bite polluters, con artists, extremists, from the embalmment of government.

Granted what they say can set off a panic so they are careful in what they say. All I can say is that Money Talks and Bullshit Walks! Its really a strange thing when the only way people can be equal is through exchange. Buying and selling, is in reality, people relating to the subject of survival on their own terms. A hustle.
1
A never ending "quid -pro-quo", if you want 2K we want employer immunity. Republicans are experts at exchange-politics,--- when people get caught up in exchanging with them, everything concrete, corporeal and material, flies out the window. Republicans in a tough spot is a good sign there is still a larger majority of people who have not in the past but will in the future vote them out. Republicans would have to resort to stealing the election, which they are, because they are a minority, they must steal elections and this always leads to revolutions because coup dé tats are always about stealing elections and remaining in power. Taking power is easy but holding on to it is way harder. Pardon or no pardon prison awaits them.

Awesome, his executive orders if congress goes with them will change the country and give it a chance to re-invent itself as a new country. Exciting. Just the right man for the job!

Wow. A Yale graduate and ex-Marine. Let it be known the salt of the earth is not in this man.

In other words, if you get busted doing business with sanctioned Chinese individuals or firms imposed by us, we won't help you.

The only power that can fix the number of millions who believe in the elections hitherto are rigged into believing they are wrong is a real opposition party. By fix I mean the Trump GOP is what we are seeing right now are not going away, in fact, will succeed in four years, have to be smashed politically. In other words, a real opposition party to the republicans and democrats is needed.

An evacuation that is identical to the evacuation of the Fall of Saigon but on a larger scale. 'Collapse' is the poorest choice of words and this is coming from an agency that makes its living using words! You have Talban forces taking the country, city by city, province by province and none of the Commanding Generals of the US military did not respond or saw this coming is the first point for discussion? Then you have a president who leaves the country with who knows how much of the treasury he took with him and Taliban forces are at the gates of the capitol of the country saying this is the last stand quit or be taken down with force. Meanwhile, civil society is just that 'civil' to each other but at a standstill pending this change of power. Then Blinken of the State Department comes out with some stupid excuse about how this is not a defeat, not a revolution, not a loss and its not going to be another Saigon. Cut to this loop the media chooses to show us and not the footage of troops setting up the perimeter to keep people from the tarmac and the footage of planes taking off because that is the footage that was shown during the Fall of Saigon, hanging off of helicopters in the air the Generals do not want shown to the public to hide the fact that Vietnam was a defeat and Afghanistan is a defeat. This is a collapse of any brains and morals in the State department is what it is?

I do believe the American form of business organization is the reason for the sluggish fall of the American empire. The few at the top who control all the means and the many without any control of the means is a form of organization of industry and employment that has seen its better days. Science and technology is currently a force compelling people to work harder not easier or less and this force has been in the hands of the corporations for the last 75 years, to me that is enough time to realize, this form of organization of work in society is a dead end for the many and a gift to the few. People are much smarter today and can organize industry in much more people friendly and profitable ways for many communities to stand on their feet.
