@JA-nq7xf , Ukraine does not currently have a sufficient number of weapons to supply 700,000 troops, so there are not 700,000 troops on the front lines defending against the Russian invaders. Therefore the majority of that 700,000 is either in training, or elsewhere in support positions. On the front lines the Russian invaders outnumber the Ukrainians, and the Russians have significantly more firepower. Despite this advantage, the incompetence of the Russian military has made this a nearly even match between the two sides. As more weapons are delivered from the west, and as more Ukrainian soldiers complete their training, Ukraine grows stronger as Russia’s supplies are exploding in storage facilities rather than on the front lines, and Russia’s supply lines are obliterated.
Things are not improving for Russia while they are for Ukraine. In time, the tide will turn. Watch and see.
