Because the base rate of power frozen and going to cost a fortune is going to be taken from our taxes in the future from benefits kept deliberately low from investment in building and hospitals all will suffer instead of the greedy companies who are posting profits 4 x more than usual but who blame higher prices to buy, if they can make huge profits like that then obviously they are overcharging us and the rises are unnecessary, besides which we only imported 15% of gas from Russia yet we are paying the highest amount, all the BS about tax breaks for the rich and bigger bonuses for bankers leading to investment is facile and totally untrue, plus invest in what ? And any business started will take years and years to be going concerns so the so called trickle down effect ( which doesn't actually happen ) would be 5 years or more in the future, right now is the time for measures, right now is the shortage of money for food and heating, she and her peers are OK they can afford to wait, even for non existent investment, they are buffered by already being millionaires many times over, but even without the millions, 80 grand a year salary and a 150 grand expense account is a nice barrier against starving and freezing, not to mention second home allowences in London which they then rent out at a 1000 a week in some places, they are pissing down our backs, telling us its raining and selling us umbrellas at fantasy prices. If you needed that explained then you maybe shouldn't be on a site with grown up subjects.

Well I've not had it nor seen many that had, l actually didnt bother with the booster shot, but my younger brither a health nut and gym rat, got it the other year back and was touch n go for 5 days wether he died or not, he had been a big disbeliever in it. My deepest sympathies to Scotland for the totally unexpected and unusual and hazardous plunge into danger, from the fact snow might fall in Scotia in January, as January is well known for being the most mildest and temperat of months, l think the government should step in and hold an inquiry into why snow is falling in January ANYWHERE IN THE UK let alone Scotland, yes we know Scotlands the driest warmest part of the UK and SNOW there is so rare it gets a special mention but l live in the north east about 40 miles from the border on the coast and want to know is the unthinkable about to happen ARE WE TOO GOING TO BE LAID UNDER A TOTALLY UNEXPECTED FALL OF SNOW ? Its not good enough, I'm seriously thinking of moving to Alaska for guarenteed hot weather and not a sign of snow EVER !!

  41. 1998 coming back from Alicante to Manchester airport...was 50 mins from home, the plane just dropped what seemed for ages then bang stop, again, stop, drop, it was really bad there were a group of people praying together. The pilots voice came over the intercom he sounded worried which is unusual as they normally use such a laid back casual voice,, he announced we had hit some unexpected turbulence.. No kidding...and it was quite rougher than he had experienced before, hand we must buckle up our seat belts asap. It seemed to go on for ages, l watched the flight attendants huddling together faces strained, and because they actually showed so much concern it worried me even more ,at last it stopped and as l departed the airport l made a vow never to fly again and so far l havent, l know the safety statistics on flying all make it the best safest way to travel, but l considered that turbulence a warning that l have paid heed to. 😊

  43. All these sentances will l assume be appealed, as to their successes in the current climate l have doubts they will all succeed, perhaps a few. But.. I do believe sometime in the future a long way into it possibly, that these sentances will be found unsafe, and how many breaches of law and human rights took place in the rushing through of the court cases will be revealed to a shocked public. I am in no way defending the actions of the rioters but am concerned at the politically motivated pressures brought to bear on those in the judical system.
