Ukrainian soldiers trolling russian propagandists in their time off... and making us smile at the same time ❤ Слава героям! 🇺🇦

Over the past couple of days I have come across several comments under Ukraine-related videos, by Slovenians expressing gratitude and admiration for the timely, skilled support provided by Ukraine even though these rescuers have their work cut out at home. To use skills gained in the worst possible circumstances to help others at a time of crisis truly is a beautiful thing. Ukraine is a great country, and most Europeans appreciate you and understand how lucky we are to share a continent with you 💙💛

Вічна вдячність захисникам України. Будь-яке почуття безпеки я відчуваю, це завдяки вам. Величезна повага з Лондона 💙💛

Thank you so much for this update. A friend and I were talking about him just a few days ago, she was more pessimistic than me. When I watched the original footage I did think he may start to speak and relate to people once he was over the shock of being released. Having used silence and disconnection to cope with torture over such a long period, it makes sense that it would take him a while to break through that wall from the inside. I'm so glad I was right about this! Obviously there's a long road ahead, but this is huge progress. I wish him and his family healing and peace... that is my wish to all Ukrainians. ❤🖤

Огидний коментар. І, крім того, хлопчик схожий на тата.

You must be proud of your fellow countryman 😊 How do you find learning Ukrainian as a Japanese speaker? I'm English-Italian bilingual - English is my primary language, but I find that Italian helps me a lot with Ukrainian. If I only spoke English I would definitely struggle. Any struggle would be worth it though, Ukrainian is such a special, beautiful language 💙💛

Thank you for this video ☺💙💛

@lk5367 I really didn't think I would cry, but then I did... cried and smiled through most of the video. 💙💛

In the first few minutes of the interview I wondered whether there would be an air-raid alarm, and... there was. And these unbreakable women just carried on in the shelter! I hope everyone had a good Independence Day and was able to celebrate in some way. It is an honour to be on the same planet as Ukraine, let alone the same continent. I feel that I owe your nation a huge debt, which I look forward to repaying for the rest of my life. Слава Україні 💙💛

This is obviously worrying, and I'm sure the fact that you've been resisting a full-scale invasion for nearly 2 years makes it feel even more ominous. To put it into perspective though, it's what civil servants in the US go through every time there's a government shutdown (usually caused by the same republicans currently blocking Ukraine's next aid package). Don't let the enemy divide you and mess with your heads... you can and will win 💙💛

It is telling that the first comment under this video was a hateful troll comment.... People like this young family represent the strength of Ukraine! They are the reason Ukraine is winning and will recover and thrive after victory. Слава українському народу! I wish this couple and their little one the very best 💙💛

This is a troll account

It is unbearably painful to just watch this short video... I can't imagine how the people in this community must be feeling. Nothing that can ever be done to the people who committed this horror will ever make up for it, but for the sake of humanity I hope they'll be removed from circulation as soon as possible. Слава Україні ❤🖤

I honestly thought this guy was in pre-trial detention on corruption charges

I've learning Ukrainian since April 2022 and this man is giving me language goals! He's from the north of England, I wonder if that helps him with pronunciation. I'm a Londoner but I also speak Italian, and if I didn't have Italian I know that I'd find Ukrainian a lot harder to learn... In any case, I have to study more grammar 😂 💙💛💙💛

I'm confused. Didn't they abduct those children, forcibly holding them for a year and a half while also holding their mother captive for some of that time?
8
Oh no. I would be so happy to find Ukrainian products in the UK, but now if they ever appear on our supermarket shelves I'll have to worry about whether they are really russian products that have been sneaked into Ukrainian packaging! I wonder if there's a way for consumers to research the provenance of individual products.
7
Did the ministry of stolen toilets invent that story to make themselves feel better about the recent Ukrainian raid on the Crimean coast, or about Ukrainians recently managing to save one of their soldiers who'd fallen overboard while one of your planes tried and failed to sink their bait? 😂

Героям слава! 💙💛

Both young people in this video are really impressive and doing such important work not only for their country now, but also for the world (sadly, many other parts of the world are heavily mined as a result of previous wars). I would just say that, as talented as the boy is, turning non-electric bikes into electric ones has become one of the major causes of domestic fires in the UK (probably in other countries, too, but here for sure) - the ones that spontaneously light on fire were usually converted, or are used with cheap battery packs that don't meet safety regulations. It would be horrendous if, in the middle of a war, this beautiful family suffered a home fire caused by something so basic.

She was a military medic. She was in captivity.

Watching in London, I'm boiling with anger, but I'm also in awe of the Ukrainian Armed Forces - and I really didn't think I could respect them more! ❤🖤

This war was initiated by putin and he and those who supported him are fully responsible for it and any of its consequences. Ukrainians had no need to be "pitted" against russians: they are an independent nation who want to live in their own sovereign country as they see fit - and the rf won't let them. It is about colonialism - but "the Anglo-Saxons" aren't the only people with a colonial history.

Why did the russian federation attack Ukraine in 2014?
5
Because he committed no crime
5
... meanwhile, in the russian federation...

Today, I have found under every single video I've watched about Ukrainian current affairs... obviously this is your current assignment at the troll farm. By the way, the use of AI for fraud and extortion is a global problem - in fact well done Ukraine for being on top of it and increasing awareness among the public.
4
@tolyparlarson4828 I don't speak the national language well enough yet, and wouldn't want to use your overstretched resources. I am definitely planning to spend time in Ukraine once I can make myself useful and not be a burden to the country 🙂

@ОксанаШаройко-к7г Thank you for being Ukranian ❤

Because he has the ability to do much more for the army from where he is, than from the front.
4
I've heard him say he doesn't want to run for office... in an interview last year. He's young though, he could change his mind in the coming years.
4
The Red Cross would finally do its job in this war
4
This is why Ukraine is winning, and will recover and thrive after victory - because the Ukrainian army have such people behind them. It is telling that the first three comments under this video range from horrible to insensitive to insane: the people in this video represent the true strength of the Ukrainian nation. 💙💛
4
You're most probably a Z-troll, but I'm choosing to reply because it needs to be said that this problem is not limited to Ukraine - domestic violence is poorly dealt with by the police and judicial systems of most countries. Including the russian federation, which has appallingly mysogynistic legislation in this respect.

Слава Україні! Смерть путінським тролям! Любов і повага з Лондона 💙💛

I don't mean to dismiss this serious issue, I just want to say how refreshing it is to hear the problem being attributed to "design faults and careless construction" at the very beginning of the news report... In the UK we have so many children learning in temporary buildings because their schools were poorly built, and never surveyed as they should have been; dozens of people dead in a preventable fire, and many more living in buildings that are not fire safe; many families in temporary accommodation because their blocks were at imminent risk of collapse... all due to design faults and careless construction enabled by politicians who loosened building standards so they could keep landlords and developers among their supporters. We all know this, but still no one is held accountable, and the people in power keep doing everything to pass the buck 🤬 At least Ukrainians just admit it, is what I'm saying. It makes a big difference. Respect.

I remember a video, about two years ago, about a former Yakuza man fighting for Ukraine... lots of tattoos, trident on the nape of his neck. Maybe it was him, maybe the nape is a good place for a tattoo...?

Constant stress can lead to weight gain. I can't believe people are focusing on this
3
@omgshit990 I know... but it bothers me when there's just an onslaught of negative comments under a video, especially when the video is essentially resisting russian psyops! Also, random negative comments about people's weight and appearance always piss me off
3
@lynaveta YES. I've never had a rosy vision of russia but until the start of the full-scale invasion I honestly didn't realise how many of the people are natural trolls
3
What a badass this woman is... she hung animals skulls and skins on her fence to scare the soldiers away! As a vegan, I never would have imagined that a dairy farmer would one day become my hero, but here I am 🤩 💙💛
3
@artvik. That's true
3
@СергійДундер-щ4е I think it's a troll, he posted the exact same reply under a different comment 😐

You lucky, lucky kid... I wish I could show you the scary Italian nun who taught me physics in the 1980s! 🤣 Well, she tried to teach me physics... I was always either bored or terrified out of my mind, and didn't learn a thing. Much love to you and your whole class, from London UK.

So many Z-trolls under videos like this one, which show the resilience of individual Ukrainians and of the Ukrainian nation as a whole.... clearly this is the most dangerous thing for russia. I love gymnastics and look forward to seeing this girl perform internationally in years to come. I just wish this guy was a bit better at interviewing children! If they'd let her show off her skills first, she might have talked a little bit more. Nevermind. This was lovely. 💙💛

Typical colonial argument, racist Brits come up with the same line when challenged about their imperialist history - "these people would still be living in huts without us" blah blah blah. Colonisation means that people, nations, countries don't get to develop they way they would have naturally. If Ukraine hadn't been brutalized, starved and occupied by the soviet union, do you think people wouldn't have built anything? What an idiotic argument.

@ОлегЧайка-л9т ☺ I don't think my reply is even in this thread any more, but what you wrote means a lot to me, thank you. 💙💛
