  1.  @musicfangirl7403  Just to add another non-troll voice to this thread, I would say that as positive, warm, and joyful as Harris is, she's also someone who doesn't suffer fools, and she knows how to catch any bs that comes her way and fling it neatly back to where it came from. She is also a confident woman who's had to build herself up, and will not fawn over dictators because unlike trump, she doesn't need to bask in their dirty light. These seem to me excellent qualities in a leader, particularly the leader of the most powerful country in the world.

  29.  @fionaanderson5796  One of my aunts had that procedure in 1960s Italy (where abortion was not legal at the time) because her first two pregnacies ended in miscarriages. Without that procedure she may have died or become unable to conceive again or carry a pregnancy to term, and I wouldn't have had my cousins (who are now blithely against abortion rights and refusing to understand the implications of these laws). When I hear these people call themselves "pro life" I feel like my brain might explode.

I don't know if the first one was staged, but I have a strong feeling this one was... not by trump's team necessarily, but maybe by putin, as a way to get his precious asset's disastrous campaign back on track. I'm trying really hard not to be paranoid or conspiratorial, and to be clear: I haven't read or heard this anywhere, it's just what has been on my mind since the news broke. The guy sounds like the perfect person to trick into this kind of attack, to discredit Ukraine while fanning the flames of trump worship. Thankfully Ukrainians are well-versed at dealing with this kind of psy-op (they're way ahead of the West in this respect) and I imagine they'll know how to deal with it.
