No one who made these claims has offered a shred of credible evidence. Pics and videos from incidents that took place at different times in different places have been used as evidence. A social media post by someone who has since deleted, admitting she had no evidence.

I understand why Palestinians wouldn't agree to that, the way I understand why Ukrainians don't want that. There may be a domestic abuse situation at the bottom of all this... and when she left, he kept the son to "turn him into his version of a "real man". These are all conjectures, and very painful things to be even considering, but with my multiple experiences of domestic abuse - as a child, adult, bystander, project worker and survivors group member - it feels horribly plausible.
