  6.  @dollarznc  I said payroll tax cuts. Payroll taxes are capped at a certain income and don’t apply to capital gains. By cutting then they are helping the little guy. Plus cutting taxes in general isn’t a bad thing. Rich people will reinvest their money back into the market, and will be more inclined to do so in the us.

  17. Eduard Claudiu Fadgyas right... shoot the feet of a guy running with a pistol . The feet, tiny fast moving targets, with a pistol, an inaccurate weapon at best. If you miss there’s a very good chance if ricochet and then it hurting an actually innocent person. That’s why police (and all people learning to shoot) are taught to shoot centre mass.

  19. Father son?! Medicare doesn’t need to be completely as based, an opt in system where everyone pays the same would essentially work exactly the same as insurance. But the benefits is that this insurance will have both the economies of scale and the power to reduce medical prices.

  21. dominic barnes not the full story. The police were responding to a reported shoplifting. The officer on the scene was checking it out when he then was told of a[nother] theft and that they were getting away. They were told to stop their car, but didn’t. The man admitted to being scared (due probably to his car registration being overdue) The second officer (the screaming one) intercepts them when they park outside of the apartment building. They were told to get out of the car, and the man complied. Officer 2 then stated that the woman was moving around a lot in the car, the officer not taking his chances (she looked like she was grabbing a gun) then kicks the mans leg out (but excessive, but not terrible) and yells for the woman to get out of the car. She denied and was then threatened to be shot.

  40. hemanth kamana that’s mixing corporate taxes with income taxes. Corporate taxes are lower and have much more deductions. In Amazons case it was its carryover losses that cut its taxes. By the way, amazon took that extra money and increased worker wages and invested it into the business. It’s a great example of how cut taxes can help a business grow.

  45. BetaPlain not at all. Maturity is measurable, and comes through experience. At 18 most adults have only just started to work and earn an income themselves, have started to rely less on their parents, ect. Even then a lot of 18 year olds will go onto university where life is paid for them for 4 years through loans - or potentially even longer. These people haven’t had the experience of actual life to make important decisions like voting for a president

  49. Income tax is only one tax. You have many other state and federal taxes that are t touched by this bill Anyway the point of the cuts is that we pay less now to get the balk rolling, and by 2025 the economy would be powerful enough that the tax cuts will pay for themselves and more.
