The Schneider trophy winning S6B exceeded 400mph in 1931, years before Hughes' slower "record", and had been beaten again, by an Italian aircraft, in 1934. His record was for a landplane, though is disputed as there were at least two competing land speed claims.

  5.  @johnnygreenface  Not quite true, US units of volume, such as pints and gallons, differ from UK Imp. versions. There are some minor differences in some units of length and weight too. I know the volume one because I like beer, and a British pint glass is larger than a US one. Also mpg fuel consumption figures differ in British publications due to the difference in what we consider to be a gallon.

Arguably the 14-bis was the first to take of unassisted, though was only marginally controllable in all three axes of flight, a flaw the many early aircraft had, including the first Wright aircraft. That said, unassisted take-off doesn't make the 14-bis a more legitimate first flight. Several others have been claimed as the first as well, but the couldn't prove it, and proof is what is needed to support a claim.

  32.  @ShoreshFathi  Hitler wasn't physically deformed. Propaganda at the time suggested he was, but there is more than enough footage of him to show he was normal. Even the "one testicle" trope was borne of propaganda, not his actual medical records, some of which survive. He was slightly shorter than average, that's about it. I despise the man, but it lessens a person to attribute things to him that were not true, or cannot be proven. He was a normal man who did abominable things, not a deformed freak.

The main capitalists causing trouble are Corporatists, the likes of Elon Musk and George Soros, using Capitalism for gain, but espousing varying forms of socialism. When you blend Capitlism and Marxism on a vast scale, you get China. As for Leftist tropes like Climate Change, even the high priests of that particular religion, and it is religious in many respects, match the worst televangelists for fervour and self-enrichment, coupled with extreme hypocrisy. Mass poverty isn't due only to capitalism, yet the West, which has raised the living standards of billions, is expected to shoulder all the ills while communist states, those few that survive sit back and gleefully point fingers at the West while doing nothing. We will never agree, I reckon.
