@aaronwilson8403 Why do you want to punish people for said "irresponsible actions?" Yes, it can seem surprising after all this time- Margaret Sanger saw the unsafe abortions happening in her neighborhood as women desperately tried to limit the size of their huge families, and she sought to curtail that (and curtail abortion in general) with family planning. She and her colleagues made an enormous amount of progress. There's still work to do.

Holocaust denial is OK?
3
Allegedly, Hinchliffe was referring to Puerto Rico's serious problem of waste disposal, but that's beside the point.
3
Yes, he is indeed bad.
3
Ok, but embryos aren't babies.
3
That was Pinochet. His lawyers stalled until he died.
3
The sitting President, no matter who it is, has very little to do with gas prices.
3
Which side are the major powers supporting? Which side is stronger? Which side does the US treat as the 51st state?
3
@jacquelinel.383 No, as they plan to have a baby, and the gifts are for said near-future baby (or the parents).
3
Seditious Conspiracy is close enough.
3
True, and Trump would be even worse.

This doesn't change the big picture, but only a small number of these cases have involved jury trials. Most defendants have pled/pleaded guilty (as is the case in over 90% of criminal cases, although I don't know the percentage here), and some (dozens?) have been settled through bench trials (in front of only a judge who then rules, with no jury).
3
@TonyGarrett-p1c Embryos and fetuses aren't children.
3
@tre655 Yes, things are marginally better.
3
@James-i5t2j Not at all. The crucial factor is personhood, the criteria that make killing wrong: sentience, the will to live, biological autonomy, and everything else that's taken away when a person is killed. In a rudimentary way, babies have that. Embryos and fetuses don't, and can't. There's no harm in not being born.

Elevated Access is a group of volunteer pilots and dispatchers who, completely for free, will transport women from places without abortion access to places that do, so that said women can get to appointments far from home, and return quickly. They do great work!
3
@mrmark8603 Yes, they can take decades. That's because death is different, and appeals are unlimited. The inmates and/or their attorneys just have to keep finding legal matters to challenge. In all other cases, only one appeal is allowed.
3
That would be anti-Semitic! /s
3
Don't blame the victims.
3
Indeed. Tariffs always raise prices.
3
The context was a creepy offer to "protect" women. Are you so naive as to think that it's a sincere, positive offer?
2
@trevorboivin4639 It's not misleading. The "protection" offer was disingenuous and creepy.
2
@YouREsoBEAUTIFUL00 Do you understand why the offer of "protection" is creepy and disingenuous, considering how he treats women? Also, Biden's comment was nothing compared to what Trump says every day about his opponents.
2
How can anyone defend the J6 attack?
2
You base this on what? I agree that it's overwhelmingly anti-Trump, but most of that is because they don't make false equivalencies.
2
Inflation is a global problem with very little connection to any particular president. Tariffs, however, always cause price increases.
2
@glockdude5472 Inflation has little to do with any particular President. It would have happened under Trump as well. Tariffs are among the worst possible trade policies.
2
How so?
2
Elevated Access is a network of private pilots who will, no questions asked and at no charge, fly women to places where they can get abortions. Look them up!
2
@31terikennedy *Who's. It seems selfish at best to bring someone into the world (who has no choice in the matter of being born) just to be your servant.
2
@gazzdav You are correct. However: *their.
2
The choice only belongs to the patient and the doctor, not the voters.
2
Your second and third sentences are wildly exaggerated.
2
Elevated Access is a group of volunteer private plane pilots who will, all for free, fly women to places where they can get an abortion, and then take them home. They can always use volunteers, and, of course, donations.
2
@ApostateApostrophe42276 No, it's pretty backwards. Did you pay attention to, for instance, this very video?
2
@casey1756 I have indeed read parts of it.
2
When was it great?
2
Stop referring to Democrats as "the left." The party is a neoliberal capitalist imperialist entity, and there's nothing leftist about that.
2
@Sarcasticron Sure. The idiom is "couldn't care less."
2
@evolutionistheflyingspaghe2702 True, and irrelevant.
2
Yeah, it's not helpful.
2
If any of this bothers you, and you're not armed (in whatever way is feasible/comfortable for you) yet, rectify that ASAP. Organize with people whom you trust. Be prepared. The MAGAts are. Also, it's Lago*, not *Largo. There's no "r."
2
Inflation is a global problem with little connection to any particular President. Tariffs, however, always cause prices to go up.
2
While Officer Sicknick wasn't exactly bludgeoned to death, the violence inflicted upon him did trigger his strokes (according to the M.E./coroner).
2
@kayakeraltamaha5720 Wasn't she pronounced dead pretty quickly on the same day?
2
Elevated Access is a group of volunteer private plane pilots, who, for free and with no questions asked, will fly women to states where they can get abortions.
2
(I'm not referring to Trump here...) That's not true. Everyone should exercise their Fifth Amendment right to remain silent. Don't talk to the police without an attorney. Similarly, in court, attorneys know when someone should exercise the same right.
2
@Michael-z5t3h Also, it's "Democratic," not "Democrat."
2
Intimated? It's supposed to be "intimidated," right?
