@greaterglider Remaining silent can save your life.
1
@fuzz6938 You've heard of the West Memphis Three, among others, right? Remain silent. We have that right for a reason.
1
Let's just say that the outcome would have been different had the suspect not been a white man (with Nazi tattoos, at that).
1
@Mark-gg6iy Indeed. Think of Nixon, several Central American caudillos, and, of course, Trump.
1
"I'm the firestarter, twisted firestarter!" (Someone should tell the guys in The Prodigy that "firestarter" is actually "fire starter." Two words!
1
Don't talk to the police without an attorney.
1
Cops never seem to give wedgies. They have ample opportunities.
1
I keep imagining what it was like in times and places with much larger numbers (per capita) of people who had been through far worse things.
1
I hate porta potties. People have gotten hepatitis from being in that guy's situation. Empty your digestive system ahead of time, folks!
1
@KevJ1247 Don't be disingenuous.
1
@ipathvvv Only a simpleton would park such a short distance from the crime scene, leave some evidence a very short distance from the car, and go to sleep. So, yes.
1
@BigDadGigaCHAD For being a simpleton?
1
@danielmann5427 All true, but thankfully the Great Crime Decline that began in the early '90s is mostly still with us.
1
@arcatacompany The way to handle it is to not answer any questions without an attorney. Specifically, tell the police that you are invoking your 5th Amendment Right to Silence.
1
@Deletirium Did you see the charges at the end? There's a response from a lawyer upthread. The state usually requests very serious charges, and then the suspect (over 90% of the time) pleads to something lesser. No trial occurs, and it's a win-win.
1
@verbalswagrawkey1932 Which was futile and foolish. Don't talk to the police without an attorney.
1
@r22d80 It was a plea deal, as happens over 90% of the time.
1
@77thTrombone There was no trial. A hearing, sure, but fewer than 10% of cases go to trial.
1
@BronzeBellaBria He pled to a lesser charge. That's how it happens the vast majority of the time.
1
@FilmSpook No, whom do you mean by "them?"
1
@catherinethemba Yes, in fact it is an American name.
1
@Hydermehdi *losing
1
@6996brandyl You assume too much.
1
@jasonlovi8745 Yes, as he took a plea deal.
1
@nooneanybodyknows7912 Capital punishment is more expensive. Maybe that means something to you, as you might not care about all the people who've been exonerated from death row, and from murder convictions in general.
1
@samuelweir5985 I wish that things were kept distinct.
1
Why do so many people in videos like this not know how to conjugate the verb "to see?" It's not "I seen."
1
:38... "Saw," not "seen!" Why does this happen? Why do people say "seen?"
1
There's no mention of Tik Tok. Also: There were opportunities to give wedgies.

1
Much worse? He was just annoying.
1
He did throw a punch after grabbing their legs.
1
@johncoptu5829 He closed the distance, started grabbing at one guy, and, a few minutes later, struck a woman in the face.
1

@Theundertalker I'm not sure what you mean by that.

1
@MajinUltraEgo I'm pointing out that "cringe" isn't an adjective, and it sounds very awkward/juvenile/etc. when used that way.
1
@number9extradip713 Scholar? Assortative mating these days leads to people of similar education levels getting together. "Marrying up" (or even "dating up") doesn't happen much anymore. So, it's doubtful that he's a scholar.
1
It was a possession, not property (that's the means of production), but that's beside the point.

This is sad.
1
@anti-ethniccleansing465 Humor me. Throw out a few names, papers, studies, etc.
1
@MichaelSheffield-ox8yd What does that mean?
1
@MichaelSheffield-ox8yd I have indeed read it. I apologize for not remembering one expression. In any case, the lead-crime link is enormous.
1
@jts12fan What's so funny?
1
@jts12fan Who's "parentheses Einstein?" Were they related to Albert Einstein, or Bob "Super Dave Osborne" Einstein? (I'm joking. Commas change so much. "Let's eat Grandma" vs. "Let's eat, Grandma.")
