@kimberlysevastyanenko3798 I don't know about "fault," but lead exposure is a huge cause of crime (among other things); the correlations are extraordinary all over the world. We can certainly assign fault to those who "redline" poor and/or minority people into substandard housing, and the state for doing little/nothing to rectify that, along with inadequate removal of lead from dwellings and neighborhoods.

@ericjones4604 The Brookings Institution has published papers and such about this, and Kevin Drum at Mother Jones magazine has several excellent, thorough articles on the link. The rise and fall of the emissions of leaded gasoline tracks almost perfectly with the rise and fall of crime rates. As I've written, lead remains in certain environments.

@jimrustle3321 That book is rehashed pseudo-science; it was known & shown to be that almost as soon as it appeared. Racists have been invoking it for about 30 years to justify their racism.

@SpaceRanger187 Send whom back to where?

@bb3585 How so? The evidence is very strong indeed. See the Brookings Institution, Kevin Drum's work for Mother Jones, etc.

@SpaceRanger187 I'm not at all certain. Don't be coy. Say what you want to say. You can find the words.

@noahhm24 *a part. "Apart" is the opposite! Anyway, he was grabbing at their legs, and then threw a punch.

@hgbugalou Would *have Anyway, it's one thing to say rude things, but it's quite another to advance on someone and start grabbing at their legs, and then punch someone else in the face.
