We point out all the time that if you grew up in a time & place in which any of those deities were worshipped, those would probably be your deities. Most people have the same religion as their parents, and yet it's always the correct religion, and everyone else's is wrong. When you understand why you don't believe in any of those deities you mentioned, you'll understand why I don't believe in yours.

Now, I know that you're not just talking of rulers, but the genealogical history of Jews in general. Lots of ethnic groups have a fictional or semi-fictional history. Note also that one needs to have a population of a certain size to prevent a bottleneck, inbreeding depression, etc.
