@mindimartian9821 Foster didn't point it.
12
It doesn't work that way.
11
It doesn't work that way, and economists try and try to explain it.
9
Would you listen to economists?
9
Sadly.
8
Economists know better.

@juliaweber212 Marches take the street. That's how it goes. If anything, drivers were attacking people, not the other way around. Also, please learn to use punctuation.
7
@TheRmason92 Perry claimed that Foster took aim. He did not, according to multiple witnesses.

@Tyler-lu4vr These tariffs are bad news for Californians as well, and indeed for nearly everyone in the US. (I'm not sure what you're trying to say regarding California, but that's neither here nor there.)
5
@Tyler-lu4vr Tariffs are taxes on importers, not foreign companies. A tariff then becomes a tax on American consumers. It's not the same as corporate taxes; those don't increase the costs of goods sold. A company might raise prices in response to higher taxes, but not usually, or at least not by the same amount that occurs due to tariffs.
5
@TheRmason92 No, he turned his car into the march. Some of us remember Charlottesville.
5
Abbott and company made the mockery.
5
@Saxxin1 Grosskreutz believed that he was trying to stop an active shooter.
5
@Le_Dislike_Button You don't know what you're talking about. If you're thinking of common crime, NYC and L.A. are much safer than, for example, Mobile or Fresno.

@rwdchannel2901 "Permits to be where they were" sounds like something from East Germany, but never mind. Our rights to get redress of grievances aren't dependent on obtaining a permit from the government whose actions we might oppose. Marches happen. They take the streets. Try it sometime. Perry turned into the crowd. He could have, like other drivers, waited and let the crowd go past. It doesn't take long. After all the automotive attacks over the years, this isn't the thing people ignore.

Asking for asylum is legal.

@hodedo7803 Some of us remember Charlottesville.

@vectorphoenix5992 Marches take the streets. That's how it goes. If anything, drivers were attacking pedestrians, not the other way around. We remember Charlottesville, and multiple other attacks in 2020 (among other times).
3
@usakittykatkat994 It's also illegal to drive into a crowd. The march was passing by. Do you defend James Fields?
3
@YTCensorshipFindTheCure Violence? No, usually by "corking" intersections, which ideally involves giving drivers alternate routes, and or explaining that the group will pass by. I don't think that they had a contingent to do that this time. I've been in that situation, filtering around/past the cars. There's nothing to worry about. After Charlottesville (I know people who tried to save Heather Heyer's life) and numerous other incidents in 2020, people have the right to be wary. Our right to assemble and address our grievances doesn't require a permit from the very government whose policies/actions we oppose, especially when said demonstration is spontaneous.

Complications are very rare, much rarer than complications in childbirth, in fact.

@scillavanilla5356 Where did you see that the burns were the source of the cancer?
3
@EonReevesScaleHobbies Marches take the street. That's how it goes. Have a little humility.
2
@rwdchannel2901 The march was on the move.
2
@rwdchannel2901 He didn't do any threatening. After Charlottesville, among other attacks, we know where the threat actually is.
2
@rwdchannel2901 It was slung. It's threatening to drive a car into a crowd.
2
@TheRmason92 Which video and pictures?
2
The piper, rather.
2
@RevTox Where did you see this evidence?
2
Perry's writings were explicitly racist and violent. Foster did not take aim, as multiple witnesses attested. This is a travesty.
2
From Abbott and co., yes.
2
Lots of people are now trying to justify voting against their own interests.
2
@Rhiannon011 You're correct, but there's no reason for the quotation marks, nor for the all-caps.
2
@Tyler-lu4vr That's not a rebuttal. Also, what are you trying to say regarding Holiday Inn Express? What's the significance?
1
@Tyler-lu4vr I am an American, I don't live under a rock, and you didn't answer the question.
1
Some of us remember Charlottesville. Perry's writings were explicitly racist and violent, demonstrating his desire to attack protesters. Foster did not take aim, as multiple witnesses attested. This is a travesty.

*slowly. Not "slow."

@paulgreene6899 I was referring to the reporter saying "slow" when he should have said "slowly."

@theredexpresss6629 There was a march. Marches take the streets. That's how it goes. It's ridiculous how angry and often violent people become in cars in general (that's been known for a century), and specifically when they are slightly inconvenienced by a march that's passing by. He didn't have to turn into the march. There have been so many similar incidents; people have a right to be wary.

How so?

The prices of domestic produce, which is not necessarily the same breeds of avocados/chilies/etc., will go up as well. Tariffs are backward.

You don't seem to know what communism is.

@aubadthe2750 Economic nationalism is backward. Unfortunately, populists (left or right) continue to extol it.
