Yep, regardless of what happens 'Unionism' is finished, the UK can get on its knees and beg to "rejoin", it can go through the application process just like every other country that has joined and wants to join, the only difference is between the UK and other potential membership countries is several countries will veto the UK.

  25. "Rejoin Europe", This is where we need to educate the British whenever we can as they have had years of Farage, Jonhson Mogg and the right wing press poisoning their minds.. Firstly, you didn't leave Europe, You left the EU, learn the difference, it's important. Secondly, You'll never be "rejoining" under the terms you had, neither will you be turning to the EU in the next ten years saying, "sorry, we made a mistake, can we come back now" . Far too many members would veto any fast tracked "re-entry" because of the behaviour of the British since 2016 in particular,,,,. You may however apply for membership, which will take decades, not years. I can safely say if you are 40+ years of age, you'll never see Britain as a member of the EU again, Scotland yes, and N.Ireland as part of a United Ireland. But the rest, not for at least three generations. It's been almost 8 years since the referendum and the Brits are still claiming it as a victory, so contrition is a long long way away let alone seeking membership.

There's isn't a hope of the UK rejoining, firstly it won't happen for decades, if at all, secondly, they will never get the deal they had and will have to join the euro, the english will never give up their precious pound. Scottish independence and the North of Ireland uniting with the republic and both joining is more realistic. The breakup of the UK and an isolated england is what brexit is going to achieve

  43. Enough about this 'rejoining' nonsense, firsly it will be an 'application' to join and as it stands the UK doesn't meet the economic criteria to join, plus all 27 members need to approve. Either Ireland, France or Spain at least would veto due to the English behaviour over the last 7 years. Membership for the sickman of Europe is 50 years away.
