  5.  @saba1030  Why did they leave the program then? As you point out, it is an international organisation. Their oven ready deal could have left them as members instead of all this time wasting. As i have already said, It's only a matter of time before they look to join the SM & CU as a third country like Iceland or Norway has through the sectoral treaties. The point being made that you have clearly missed is as Michael Barnier predicted, once they leave the EU they'll want to cherry pick.

  21. Treaty 'change' would require constitutional change in Ireland, which would require a referedum. You can be sure the lunatic fringe parties and the right wing press would sell this as EU membership by stealth so that referedum would never pass.
