@DanW-nk7sn and during that period of time eastern chunk of USSR was part of Germany. If Germany won - used would be part of Germany. That's how wars work. What's your point again?
1
@Nessy-of-the-Lynn you're focusing on pensions too much. My point was that if your country's existence solely relies on someone else in many spheres of life - it is dependent and is far from being sovereign. There's a reason why Boris Johnson ordered Ukraine to "just fight" and Zelensky agreed, there's a reason why Ukraine doesn't use western weapons inside Russia, there's a reason why Ukraine was forced to attack last summer to show results etc
1
Because they lost far less soldiers than your propaganda tells. Because Russia and Ukraine are the only countries that have experience against modern opponent. Because Russia outguns entire NATO, which even Biden admitted by saying that US is scrapping the barrel for artillery shells. And because now they have huge battle hardened army which uses drones as standard equipment. Russia should be number 1 indeed
1
Indeed. Imagine if Ukraine was following Minsk agreement or allowed water to flow in Crimea
1
@mattsapero1896 haven't you seen hundreds of videos of Ukrainian soldiers kidnapping men off streets to throw into military? Apparently it wasn't enough to replace their losses, so now they're talking about mobilizing women and extra 500k men to even attempt an offensive
1
@KevinPhillips_kw what changed? Ukraine received much less money than before their failed summer offensive, half of what they received is paid for weapons that haven't been made yet. And Ukraine still doesn't have enough soldiers to use those weapons, despite canceling people's passports abroad
1
@kkmiroslaw can you explain the math behind your statement? Russia has 10 times more artillery, 100 times more planes, 10 times more tanks and has a terrible advantage in fire power overall. Do you realise that in slow going conflicts fire power has a direct correlation with losses? Do you think there's a reason why Ukraine is admittedly running very low on losses, despite constantly mobilising more soldiers by kidnapping them off streets, canceling people's passports abroad and not allowing men to leave Ukraine legally? Do you think there's a reason why Russia can sustain their army with only volunteers for over a year since their only mobilization?
1
If your father fought against Nazis, why are you supporting people who call nazi collaborators "heroes of Ukraine"? Why do you support Zelensky who gave ovations to an old nazi who was introduced as a "Ukrainian who fought Russians in ww2" ?
1
@d0nr1coiii38 people of many nationalities collaborated with Nazis. But, to my knowledge, only Ukraine still calls their collaborators "heroes" and names streets in their "honour". Nobody blames modern Ukrainians for what a fraction of their grandfather's did. But Ukrainians are getting blamed for what they're doing right now. Even the phrase "Slava ukraini heroyam Slava" was invited and used by those collaborators, similarly to "heil *itler"
1
@p.bckman2997 nazism itself has nothing to do with jews. Ukrainians just prefer to blame everything on Russians and dehumanise them by calling them orcs (instead of rats for jews). Not sure why you would even say it. Considering that Zelensky still gave ovations to the person who killed jews before. And this killer accepted ovations from that Zelensky too.
1
@ocean_monster1 notice how pro Ukrainian NPCs call me a bot or a worker, but don't actually argue points of mine
1
@p.bckman2997 what does one have to do with another? That old nazi also accepted ovations from Zelensky, doesn't make him less of a nazi. What even is your point?
1
@AS-np3yq gaslighting much huh. SS Galichina division wouldn't agree with you. UPA wouldn't agree with you. Or do you think they slaughtered Jews, Russians and other Ukrainians just for fun?
1
@marcs990 "nonexistent nonsense" - it's funny that western media were pretty open about Ukrainian nazis until 2022 when they suddenly became the good guys. What do you think about Azov training camp for children where instructors have swastika tattoos on their necks? The Guardian made a nice video about it a couple years ago
1
Funny, how despite being a vegetable, he still managed to encircle Ukrainian army in Mariupol Lysychansk Severodonetsk Bahmut and Avdiivka. If Gerasimov is a vegetable, who's Zaluzhny?
1
Spreading Ukrainian war propaganda for money isn't an achievement
1
@anthonywilson4873 is this why 100k people in Kherson decided to move to Russia when they were leaving the city?
1
So Russia fighting corruption is a good thing for Ukraine?
1
@ghostlightx9005 are you got brainwashed into believing that every arrest in Russia has something to do with Putin?
1
Russia doesn't do anything to a certain date, their officials stated it many times
1
As soon as Ukraine leaves alone Donbas, Crimea and other regions that don't want to be Ukrainian or have streets named after nazi collaborators
1
Everything you said is blatant Ukrainian war propaganda. How stupid you need to be to trust estimations of enemy casualties of any country ever?
1
@dritzzdarkwood4727 according to Mediazona, which uses ACTUAL data from cementeries and social media, unlike random propaganda, Russia lost 39k in entire war. For comparison, in 2011 28k people died in Russia in car crushes. Btw, how many do you think Ukraine has lost? Especially considering that they're planning to draft women and mobilize extra 500k men. Apparently kidnapping people off streets wasn't enough to replace their losses
1
Почему ты ещё не в окопе, воин?
1
It was Ukraine that started bombing their own civilians for disagreeing with kievan nazis who overthrew DEMOCRATICALLY elected government
1
@Wasted_Talent007 no, I'm having fun arguing with people. So how would you stop the war in Donbas and made Ukraine to destroy a dam? Btw Russia even tried to pay for that water, but Ukraine refused I'll join army if my country calls me, don't worry. Why aren't you volunteering in Ukraine?
1
@angrydoggy9170 no, Turchinov (main Ukrainian official at the time) announced "anti terrorist operation" against Donbas civilians BEFORE Russia sent their puppet Strelkov to lead the resistance because resistance ALREADY existed Dam was indeed destroyed by Russia after they invaded Ukraine in 2022. Maybe if Ukraine have done it themselves or haven't made it in the first place - there would be no war
1
There were no Ukrainians in Oleshky, Russian troops made a video near that bridge. And Ukrainians haven't "cleared" anything on those Islands because there were no Russian troops there because it's a death trap. Days ago Russia already posted video of blowing up Ukrainian troops there with aviation bombs "Accurately report any changes" - spreading Ukrainian war propaganda accurately doesn't mean that report on itself is accurate
1
@ImperialDiecast defensive lines aren't ment to keep soldiers all the time. What's the point in sending soldiers to sit in trench when enemies are nowhere near? Russia also made plenty of trenches on random crossroads and around small cities all over Zaporozhye and Kherson, do you think they should keep soldiers there for no reason too?
1
Russia lost less men in this war than they loose in car crushes per year. Plus they gained 2m refugees from Ukraine and captured multiple regions, they are fine. Unlike Ukraine which lost almost half it's population since 2014
1
Well, Russia indeed doesn't care about gaining or loosing ground if you haven't noticed. They built defensive lines like 15km away from Bahmut in Popasna and will fall back if they feel like it. I doubt that they will send thousands to slaughter in a cauldron for PR stunt like Ukraine did
1
What Ukrainian propagandists or politicians have children in the army? Denis also doesn't serve in Ukraine . Syrsky's son is pro Russian. Children of Klitschko live in USA
1
@CroydonKitty pretty much all of them advocated for bombardment of Donbas with cluster ammo since 2014 "Unprovoked" - what Ukraine should have done for you to say "yeah, Russia has valid reasons to invade them" ? Because Ukraine dammed river to Crimea to deliberately starve 2 million people, killed people near Russian borders, Zelensky threatened to build nukes on Munich Conference and lied about Minsk agreements (Merkel Holland and Poroshenko all admitted that Minsk agreements were made only to arm Ukraine for war against Russia). Sounds like a lot of valid reasons to me
1
@CroydonKitty pretty much all of them advocated for bombardment of Donbas with cluster ammo since 2014 And yes, no-one has a right to promote war while sitting thousands of km away from death and dirt. "Unprovoked" - what Ukraine should have done for you to say "yeah, Russia has valid reasons to invade them" ? Because Ukraine dammed river to Crimea to deliberately starve 2 million people, killed people near Russian borders, Zelensky threatened to build nukes on Munich Conference and lied about Minsk agreements (Merkel Holland and Poroshenko all admitted that Minsk agreements were made only to arm Ukraine for war against Russia). Sounds like a lot of valid reasons to me.
1
@mombaassa 1) Denis also promotes the war while sitting in safety 2) He can come back any time, be a drone operator, continue his blog in a different format. Instead he avoids conscription. "And still not conscripted" - only 0.2% of Russians got conscripted. And only people who served in the military before. People with good education don't serve in the military either.
1
Indeed, it's almost impossible to convince western NPCs that Ukraine is full of nazis and that there are no good guys in this conflict
1
By "Russian freedom fighters" you mean nazis from White Rex organisation? And by "doubt they will get to Moscow" you mean that they sacrificed equipment and lives for random PR stunt again?
1
Just like 70% of Ukrainians were totally with with bombing civilians of Donbas all those years. Do you think Ukrainians are also crazy?
1
@jettser17UK since when killing civilians because they want to be free is self defense? What "nazi style"? How exactly Russian actions in Ukraine differ from American actions in Syria? And how is it enslavement if those regions wanted to join Russia for almost a decade?
1
Those few soldiers who landed on one of those islands are already blown up by 500kg bombs, Russia posted a video already. And they also posted videos of Russian soldiers on their bank of the river who stated that there are no Ukrainians there and no certainty no bridgehead Ukraine already did those suicide missions multiple times since Russia left Kherson and achieved nothing So it's mode like: Every sane person - You can't establish a bridgehead with 10 guys Ukrainian supporters - hold my extra chromosome
1
@argellaguardia9390 it's not Russia that wants to mobilize women and begs EU to return anyone who managed to escape mobilization
1
@nicolaasstempels8207 how? The Ukrainian offensive showed that they can't retake those regions. Western support is also dwindling, less and less people care about Ukraine every month. Or do you really believe that Ukraine will send their soldiers to fight with sticks, as Zelensky said? How many Ukrainians are you willing to sacrifice to retake Crimea?
1
@scottessery100 evidence for what? War propaganda about enemy losses is the most obvious and standard thing imaginable and only an idiot can believe it
1
According 6o BBC sponsored Mediazona, which uses ACTUAL data from cementeries and social media, Russia lost 40k troops in entire war. And considering that all Russian men went through at least one year of training when they turned 18 and received months of extra training during mobilization - they're still infinitely better trained than Ukrainians. Do you think there's a reason why Russia had only one mobilization wave a year ago and easily expanding army with only volunteers, while Zaluzhny is crying for extra half a million men, despite Ukrainian militia kidnapping men off streets to throw into military for over a year now?
1
@ianobrien3248 well, Mediazona has actual data, while Ukraine doesn't have anything to back up thdir ridiculous claims Btw, who do you think is losing more soldiers? Considering that Russia has huge advantage in artillery, tanks, aviation, bombs, rockets and even now drones. And considering that Russia encircled Mariupol Lysychansk Severodonetsk Bahmut and Avdiivka, while Ukraine never encircled Russia
1
@castheeuwes1085 47k is estimation and based on number of average deaths of men below 50. But every year those numbers are different, so it doesn't necessarily means anything Right now, Russia lost 40k dead including Wagner, other PMCs and prisoners and it's based in ACTUAL data. Obviously there's a time lag since people who died few days or weeks ago most likely weren't recognised as dead due to bureaucrasy
1
@Bjowolf2 is this why Ukraine constantly cries for more equipment? If Russia doesn't have advantage in equipment - why can't Ukraine keep pushing Russia? Why their summer offensive failed? Western media even admit that Russia now has 7 to 1 drone advantage And yeah, Russia never had manpower advantage. Kinda impossible to have while Russia was replacing losses and growing their army with only volunteers for the last year, while Ukranian militia was kidnapping people off streets to throw into military for the last year
1
@chucklesthered2338 no, in 2023 Russia gained more land than Ukraine, despite Ukrainian grand offensive that even had a trailer. Russia only lost ground in 2022 because they were to slow to mobilize troops. Since then Ukraine haven't achieved anything on the battlefield
1
@Bjowolf2 do you realize that exaggerating enemy losses is standard war propaganda and only an idiot can believe it, right? Even if you want to believe that Russia is losing a lot more than Ukraine, you have to have some braincells to understand that Russia terribly outguns Ukraine and therefore killing a lot more Ukrainian soldiers than losing Russian economy is growing, western media admit that that Russian military industry outproduce entire NATO when it comes to drones, artillery shells, tanks and rockets Also there are plenty of interviews of Ukrainian soldiers who's admitting that today Russian army is far stronger than before. Partially because Russia now uses 7 times more drones than Ukraine (according to New York Times). If Russian army got weaker - why exactly Ukraine haven't achieved anything in 2023, but was able to retake big chunks of land in 2022? Despite Ukranian militia kidnapping men off streets to throw into military
1
@Patrik6920 oh, I'm sorry for challenging propaganda you're consuming with actual data and western media. You can keep being brainwashed, relax and don't look at comments
