@Ihaveanamenowtaken It is simple. You either give up or keep trying. If even happened to me: when my credentials were not recognized in a certain country, preventing me from working there, I searched for options in other places.

@Ihaveanamenowtaken I was born in Southeast Texas and my birth certificate says "race of mother: Negro" and "race of Father: Negro" and that the residence is "on a Farm" and I have a US passport but hasn't prevented me from getting rejected and told "no" , bamboozled and discriminated against more times that I can count. Anyway, the best thing for people who live North or South or East or West any any imaginary lines is to not listen to people like you who have decided for them what they can or cannot do based on imaginary lines and your type of limited thinking.

@Ihaveanamenowtaken When I was young I was confused and misled, but I definitely get it now!

@iliveinsideyourhouse3943 Don't listen to these people who insist that because a person is born in a certain place or situation or is of a specific skin color or nationality that they can't achieve success in their areas of interest. It's dangerous thinking. Don't give up, stay positive and don't let this "bad luck" talk distract you. If everything that these people say is true, based on my situation being black and female from a rural area whose parents attended segregated schools, I should be living on public assistance in some crummy housing with a baby on each hip and no daddy in sight. Good Grief! Just listen to the people who are encouraging, successful and have good ideas and look for your potential, not your supposed disadvantages or "bad luck". I wish you much success with your plans and efforts! P.S. you sound smart to me, so don't ever say you're "not that smart". Start today by affirming that you are indeed very intelligent.

You're already thinking "37" so that influenced the people to say 37.

No. Even the expensive ones die after months.

I've had led lamps (made with numerous LEDs) wich cost hundreds of Euros which stopped functioning after just months and had to be replaced under warranty. It's ridiculous.

@lxathu The aggravating part is that I'm changing the various "energy-saving" bulbs just as frequently as the "ordinary" bulbs and the so-called energy savers cost multiple times the old fashioned ones. So, maybe they save energy somehow but they certainly don't save money.
