  1. Maybe if the state took complete financial responsibility for the children it INSISTS that women have - it might not insist. It’s too easy to demand that OTHER people take responsibility for something that no woman does alone, but which many women are expected to finish on their own! I say that if women are denied the right to abortion, the state must either force the male party to take responsibility for his offspring, or failing that, pick up the entire tab itself. I say that facetiously, because women MUST have the right to abortion… or else there will be hell to pay.

He might be right about that, but it was HE who cancelled the INF (Intermediate Range Nuclear Forces Treaty), the Iran Nuclear Treaty (the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action or JCPOA) and the Open Skies Treaty (permitting mutual, unarmed surveillance flights over all territories by all signers), all designed to reduce the threat of nuclear proliferation and war. If the world is closer to nuclear war than ever before, that would be almost ENTIRELY TRUMP’S FAULT. As usual, Trump ADMITS his culpability. We should believe (and arrest) him!

That can EASILY be accomplished, by raising taxes on the top 1% by AT LEAST (need to take interest and opportunity losses, etc., into account, so maybe twice as much) $1Tn a year, and likely more than $2Tn a year, until the imbalance has been corrected. Those funds can be used to CUT working and middle class taxes by a similar amount, and to fund social programs to help working and middle class Americans. THAT IS ONLY FAIR! It uses money that should NOT have been taken from workers, and given to billionaires! It uses WORKING CLASS MONEY (collected from the rich) to fund working class aid programs. A LOT of people, young women in particular, have worn that style. In all likelihood, nobody warned her that there would be BIG SHOW with the POTUS, and cameras, and her right in the middle of it. Her dress was no doubt acceptable for her job. Don’t blame her. It was, in all likelihood, out of her hands (the president’s itinerary would not be announced in advance, for security reasons). Had she known, she might have worn something less trendy.

Well, that is a personal thing that I would not criticize, to a wearer’s face. We had a similar look in the 60s and 70s, which was jeans that look on the verge of turning to dust, as an expression of economy, and voluntary poverty, values some hippies had. Ripped jeans have a long history, and are just as popular today as ever. Myself, personally? I hate ‘em, but I would never let a pair of pants stand between me and another person! Personally, I like my jeans INTACT.
