  1.  @Herman47 Society would be a total, violent mess without government. Ideally, government represents the people, for their (the people’s) specific benefit. The current democratic republic does in fact, with occasional disturbing variances (it sides with the rich and corporations too much), represent the people. Would a Trump government do better? ON THE CONTRARY, a Trump government would take all our government benefits, which BTW we have been paying for our entire lives, away! We will, for example, have tens of millions more Americans without any healthcare! It will leave the children of middle class families unable to afford college, and it will see our infrastructure get worse and worse and worse. Educational standards will be in the toilet in public schools, while private schools will cost 10X what most people can afford. The list goes on. Life under Trump and his fascist cohort would be TERRIBLE! We must not let it happen.
