The government censored off-the-shelf treatments for COVID and threatened doctors if they did the right thing. Censorship is not how you fight bad ideas. It's how bad ideas are imposed on others.

@sandydennylives1392 11 million dead worldwide is not a huge number. And in the USA, the death toll is highly exaggerated, because there's profit for health-care providers in reporting EVERYthing as COVID. Meanwhile, NObody seems to have died of cancer, heart disease, or influenza. It's almost as if those illnesses took a step back out of respect forCOVID. OR the deaths from those other illnesses are being vastly UNDER-reported.

As a mathematician, I know it only takes a small tweak to one or two coefficients in a multivariate model to produce damn near whatever result you wish. But yes. Basically, garbage in -> garbage out. That's why all the climate models based on CO2-caused catastrophic climate change invariably fail to make reliable predictions. You know it's political when ALL the "accepted" models, when applied to PAST date, vastly over-estimate global temperatures. Speaking of garbage, NOAA and NASA have retconned (memory-holed) actual climate data for the entire first 2/3 of the 20th Century. It was much warmer in the 1930s than data now shows, and the cooling from then until about 1978 has been expunged from the record. I'm old enough to remember the 1970s when the exact same authoritarians were insisting on authoritarian measures to prevent global COOLING! There's nothing stopping the same thing happening, again. Liars in public health, government, and BBC, who lied or just relayed misinformation uncritically. Liars who used "fact-checking" and "threat of misinformation" to promulgate HARMFUL misinformation, to the point it can't be called anything but conscious DISinformation. If it was all just a perfect storm of honest mistakes, then the incompetence of every official involved is an inescapable conclusion, and the LOT OF THEM need to be terminated from office, IMMEDIATELY. No more beating around the bush. No more giving the benefit of the doubt to people who gave No benefit of the doubt to US.
