It can hit you even when you're 20ft away and some can even reach a range of 35ft. And tasers can get deadly, but even if not, it would have made the officer fall to the ground and given Brooks access to the officer's gun, threatening the other officer's life.

Even if indoors, you would have to be exposed to the virus for a long time, have poor ventilation, or huge concentration of the virus in the air. You have an immune system. It can deal with low concentrations of the virus. In fact, your body is exposed to all sorts of pathogens daily. If you really fear of catching it, then wear a mask. It's your responsibility to protect yourself. If someone wants to wear a mask to protect others, that's their choice, but feeling entitled that others should wear a mask to protect you or others is just trasngressive. Most cases of covid are asymptomatic and often people will confuse it with a cold. The fatality rate is also 0.5% so calling it a beast is an extreme exaggeration.
