NATO called the Baltic Sea Allies Summit on 14.01 and announced Baltic Sentry -enhanced security patrols of additional vessels, aircraft, and a large fleet of unmanned naval drones. To monitor and implement inspections and seizures under maritime law of grey fleet unlicensed vessels, hazardous conditions due to lack of maintenance, suspicion of sabotage or espionage etc. The Baltics and Nordics agree that Finland has set the precedent and all allies will enforce a strict patrol, with Germany and Poland to also implement. Estonia PM and Finland president announced Baltic Sentry at press conference after NATO Baltic Sea Allies Summit. The delivery was serious and confident, a good message of deterrence and defence from NATO. Our PM added that the sabotage has spiked as the Baltics leave the Soviet power grid early February, and nothing will stop the switch to Nordic power supply, there are back up plans and back ups of the back ups.   50.  @juhajuntunen7866 ​​⁠Finnish is Finno-Ugric and Swedish is Norse-Germanic, entirely different language groups. The overlap from Finnish and Estonian is much greater with many words being exactly the same. There's Swedish-Finnic to bridge the gap, but it's a dialect and not a national language. The lack of understanding between Swedes, Danes, Norwegians with gap to Finnish is evident in many in-person tests and comparisons here in on YT. Greetings from Estonia.
