  10. I truly feel sorry for the loss of these lives, but if you go into a war zone you are taking that risk. We need to remember who started this war and Israel (or any nation) has a right to eliminate terror organizations that make the first strike. Israel is not going after aid workers, but many organizations do not understand the realities of war.

If they are that significant why did other countries like Jordan kick them out and Egypt say "Don't come here." Israel is the only place that allotted them land. So a history of terrorist attacks first by the PLO including Oct 7 by Hamas against Israel is a way of saying "Thank you?" For the record there are many Jews and Palestinians (a false name given to them by an ancient Roman emperor ) that have peacefully worked side by side daily. Propaganda does bad things to one's head. Remember Germany in the 1930s and 1940s.

  45. It took me a moment, but I think I get your unspoken point. War is ugly. Those who have never seen it first hand, from foot solders to real news reporters, have no idea what they are talking about with simplistic comments. My mother-in-law knew from a civilian perspective what it was like to live under both Nazi and Soviet occupation. Admittedly the 1930s and 1940s differ from 2024. But innocents even among the bad guys are often forgotten. Sadly, that's just one of the realistic elements of idealistic wars. No video game here.
