  2. Weird how people call an animal smart for making a decision that any other animal would instinctually think of doing. In fact, those cheetahs probably had to use their brains to think of standing their grounds rather than thinking to flee.

  10.  @random4969  Hyenas are not filthy and half of what you say is false. Also, a leopard would kill hyena or lion cubs if it got the chance. What the hyenas here are doing to the leopard, is the same thing a lion or african painted dog pack would do.

  11.  @random4969  There is a video of a hyena eating right beside a lioness while the lioness attacks it. It barely even tried to run away. Also, hyenas are brave. They're the only mammalian predators in Africa that would go out of their way to attack lions.

  12. In terms if hyenas, leopards stand almost no chance. Hyenas are slightly larger than leopards and are 10 times more resilient, being able to take beatings like it's nothing, while also having a bite strong enough to cripple a leopard, so leopards tend to run up a tree as soon as they see a hyena, or try their best to intimidate, and sometimes, even share the kill with the hyena. On the other hand, painted wolves are half the size of a leopard and would be easy pickings on their own, however they are almost never found alone. They are also the most efficient land mammalian hunters in the world, and for good reason. They never get tired, have pen knives for teeth and incredible teamwork.

  24.  @MrCancer1965  A jaguar is about 2.5 times smaller than a lion. A lioness could easily kill a male jaguar. Hunting caiman means nothing against a cat with the same weapons as you but much larger.

  32.  @100Gambit  In painted dog society, if a member is attacked, they don't run. They counter attack even more furiously, because not it's not about food, but to protect a valuable member. Check out the videos with lions. At first, they scramble but when one is attacked, they get braver.
