He didn’t want a second to breathe, he wanted control of the situation, it’s all ego. Just put your ego away and pull forward, saying no isn’t going to work out for you, the cop isn’t going to go away. If you wind the window up with his hand in it, he’s going to break it and now you’ve assaulted him and you’re going to get lit up.
Both had ego, one had authority. If you don’t want issues, pull forward, if you want to test the other man’s resolve, be defiant. He was defiant to every single directive. Wouldn’t pull forward, wouldn’t open his window, wouldn’t get out, wouldn’t get in the ground, wouldn’t even sit in the car when cuffed. That’s all ego.

@michacarrymc1129
I lived through things before I even hit hit my teens that would send most to an eternal safe space, and it didn't get any better following that, I just became big enough to defend myself physically. None of which helped with emotional maturity or development.
Did those things make me 'hardened', sure, in some ways. Did I learn how to work and pay bills, sure. But this is merely survival, not progression or maturity as a human/adult.
From how you responded it seems you believe you've had it harder than anyone on earth, and somehow you're a beacon of maturity due to this, I felt the same, and I was wrong. That stuff damages you, even if you cant see it, it stunts you, and you do what you can/have to, to survive through it.
