  16.  @MrAleB305  But they CAN arrest you for yelling at a cleaner, loitering, public disturbance, etc, etc, etc. It's a shame we have come to this point where an outright and open disrespect of police is considered cool, and police have to point out "I could be arresting you, but I'm not, so let's be civil, or I will". I understand your point, but unless he said 'I'm arresting you for having a bad attitude", he's going to be fine.

  25. @babyjane87 Legally parked according to you? You can’t just pull up in a traffic stop, a lot of things fall under “officer safety” it was a legal directive, he disobeyed. Then he disobeyed the order to wind his window down, wound the cops hand up in the window, disobeyed the order to get out the car, disobeyed the order to get on the ground.. he even disobeyed the order to sit in the police car when cuffed. His ego got the better of him.

  30. I have, but that is life, life isn't always fair. For the most part I like to think people are trying to do the right thing, police included. These bodycams show us what they go through and helped me drop my grudge for what happened.

  37. It's not the same thing. Someone that age being put in a position of authority does not have the life experience for the role. Think of yourself at 18, or any 18 year old you've met. They may be bright, but they haven't lived life as an adult yet.

  49. The real issue is he got less than a year for this, so he will be back out and free to do it again knowing the consequences are minimal. If the consequences are minimal, what is the deterrent? The fault lays with the court system.
