  6. Consumer Reports gets major funding from the Ford Foundation. Are you people really so full of hate for the most benign and moral major corporation on the planet? Tesla also just got several awards for being vehicle of the year. It is also the safest car of any type in a collision. It also has the highest owner satisfaction by a mile. I could go on and on, and you have to pick though slanted reports by biased media (a all media that depends on advertising revenue hates Tesla because they do not need to advertise -- fool) And in Consumer Reports, they are highly influenced by the Ford money.

  10. Performance is similar -- only if you are willing to pay 30k more for a car with similar stats. Don't know what planet you are living on, but it obviously doesn't get much news. Next year Tesla will be casting the entire underbody of their cars in one piece and the battery tray will be a structual component of the chassis. Also they will be selling a pickup with an exoskeleton instead of a chassis. Advances that the other companies never even dreamed of.

  12. Hybrid vehicles will be around but not because they are an advancement. They are more complicated and subject to mechanical problems than either ICE or EV. They take the Rube Goldberg whirligig that is the ICE engine and make it even more complicated and subject to problems, while the obvious direction is the simplicity of EV with three moving parts per engine as opposed to ICE 1500 moving parts or hybrid 1500 plus, and hybrid owners almost always only use the gas engine. The most meaningful major advancement in the developing world would be in the cities and the best thing in the cities would be for the millions of scooter drivers to switch to EV scooters with batter swap tech.

I hope you can use this headset with a PC if it is really good, because Apple can't do games like Nividia, or AMD dedicated video cards on a PC and none of the good games run on Apple. Plus Apple charges 30% more than you can build an comparable PC for and why would you even want a comparable PC if you can build one that just kicks the S out of Apple on games and other high intensity video apps?

There may have been some racist remarks that were not addressed by some employees to some contractor, but you have to understand the mindset in California, and the clearly opportunistic mindset that can turn a few insults into a couple of hundred million dollars. Jump on the sue Tesla for nothing bandwagon. The payoffs could be monumental. Anyone who even brings up this travesty of justice as a criticism of Tesla is suspect. Just slanted bull. They are not even close to the tech that Tesla can bring. But it is the only chance that companies like GM and Volvo have to compete at all is to have Chinese companies produce EVs for them. But they are not Teslas. People who get to know Tesla engineering, or own one of their cars, sooner or later realize that they are a different generation of EV compared to all others. It's like comparing an F14 Tomcat to an F22 Raptor. They are both great planes, but there really is no fair comparison.

  26. Tesla did borrow some federal money early on in it's development. It payed it all back, with interest before it was due. And I believe it payed a penalty in addition for early repayment. You know nothing and either know your are lying or are a complete dupe. Elon Musk has personally paid more US taxes than any other person in history ever has. Tesla does not need to advertise to sell every car they make at a profit beyond all other major OEMs. Their customers sell them for them. Tesla customers frequently say that their Tesla is their absolute favorite possession, and that they are continually thrilled by the fact that it is often improved OTA on a weekly basis. People like you have been predicting the fall of Tesla since the beginning. The facts on the ground could not be more out of line with the FUD you have picked up from the media. Tesla does not give free cars to auto magazine staff, or all expense paid junkets to visit a resort and see the new, fill in the blank, which are special magazine cars specially built by hand to get reviews. This is knowm -- child. Or maybe you depend on the financial or auto press or broadcasters whose sole raison d'etre is to sell advertising space or time. And Tesla will not pay the hundreds of millions that they get from all other OEMs. You figure it out. If your are capable.

I have been waiting patiently for a Really good VR headset with the trimmings, like a 360degree treadmill, good steering wheel, real joystick etc. I don't care if it costs a few grand, if it can do what I want, and the paramount app is gaming, then maybe digital sports like racing, then maybe movies in 8k. This thing is obviously not something you would wear on the street like AR glasses. Tech anticipations sucks, I was born sixty years too early, but then again I did get to go to Woodstock when I was seventeen and the whole free love and hippy vibe of the sixties was actually better than the internet and cell phones and all the "great stuff" we have now.

The most significant weapons in the war: On the Russian side the Krasnopol and Krasnopol M guided artillery shells with a max range of about 12 miles and a hit rate on specific targets of about 80%. The Russian also have a rocket propelled guided artillery round thought to be the equal or better in range of the American rocket propelled guided Excalibur shell. The Americdan Excalibur is devastatingly accurate and can be used by existing M109A7 Paladin self-propelled howitzers which can send Excalibur rounds to 39.3 kilometers (24.4 miles), which ERCA an extended barrel length howitzer can now lob to 43 miles. Their is a German/South African gun that reportedly can do a little better. The Canadians recently supplied Ukraine with both the Excalibur rounds and the Dutch gave a small number of self-propelled howitzers that can use it. It can also be used by the towed guns recently supplied by the USA and Canada. The use and efficiency of these shells in an anti-artillery role by the competing Russian and recently supplied American radar controlled systems that can target and fire on artillery units within seconds of their use may be the knife edge upon which the entire war is determined, baring the deployment of western air power, in Ukraine. To me the most exciting development in this field is that Norway's Nammo has unveiled a potentially revolutionary concept for an air-breathing, ramjet-powered, pseudo-missile that any standard 155mm howitzer can fire at targets more than 60 miles away. A truly great time for Norway, and Nammo to supply the 155s with a shell that can reach out and touch Russian artillery with little or no exposure other than to air to ground or guide missile fire. To have Russia exchange expensive guided missiles for common artillery with uncommon munitions, is not such a bad exchange in a scenario in which missile production is dependent upon western tech they no longer have access to.

Solving the Money Problem is higher. California is supposedly ramping their production up too, and perhaps most importantly China is expanding perhaps doubling its factory. It's still not too late for anyone to get in on the prosperity that Tesla has brought to so many investors (except for the short players lol) There is so much potential upside to having a visionary who is actually capable of making his vision happen. FSD if it should ever really happen, and for a few reasons I am not entirely convinced of that, will transform transportation on a fundamental level. A profound transformation that few truly understand the significance of. And as for the teslabot, well, seems like fantasy to most right now, but they better take up a hobby because everyone may have a lot of affluent free time, like it or not.

  50. You're right, they should turn off the pipelines and restart their decommissioned nuclear plants, and all drive EVs. But the Germans are just blind in some respects and nuclear power is one area where they have been so brainwashed by the activists that it has become a strategic deficit.
