The only way Ukraine will win this war, not take back what they lost but defeat the Russians, is if they are no longer under the Russian nuclear threat. The only way this will happen is if they again have their own nukes. Russia thinks that it is untouchable, but I don't think that the Ukrainians would be all that forgiving -- given the possibility of taking the fight to the Russian motherland. But my two cents on this subject is that it was the advent of news for profit with CNN. Until then network news departments were isolated from sales and financial considerations, was unaffected by ratings, and was always a loss leader. But they should bring back equal time. That would be great, half of all viewing on cable news would be equal time commentary on lies and spin.

The problem with power, and money is power, is that it doesn't matter who holds it, it stimulates epigenitic hormonal programs that give rise to what outside observers refer to as corruption. But what from the inside seems like one's higher destiny unfolding, basically conscienceless megalomania. The average conclusion of a mass of people who are presented with actual facts about a complex situation will be more accurate and correct than the most accurate individual conclusion. The solution is to take the profit out of drugs, by decriminalizing them and making cocaine available to the fools who use it cheap. At one point when I was young I had a job doing fix-up and painting around the house of a retired general of the US armed forces. His wife had prescriptions for both cocaine and opium, legally as nose drops and paregoric. She had bottles of them in virtually every room of the house and she seemed to function quite normally. The whole illegal drugs thing is a scam, it is total bullshit, and the only solution that works is decriminalization and gov sponsored clinics where the drugs can be had and used safely like they have in Switzerland. Unless you want the drug barons and their banker launderers to continue to corrupt every facet of our Republic from Congress down to the beat cop level, and the incredibly ineffective enforcement apparatus which has proven that they can do nothing of significance regarding the problem except increase their own power and funding and shit on low level street level creeps. When you make something like pot or opium illegal you make it so profitable that it will be smuggled and sold successfully no matter what enforcement techniques you use. It is natural to use and want to use drugs, cocaine is like coffee, only actually less toxic than pure caffeine. The worst drug by far as far as health and society is concerned is alcohol. You could use medically pure opioids most of your life without serious consequences, not so with alcohol. The reason drugs are illegal is power and money is derived from their prohibition, but the lies have the public in fear and no one has the courage to stand up because the bastards that profit from the prohibition have everything by the balls.

Take irony for instance. The Russian form of ironic humor is to accuse other countries of doing what they themselves are trying to cover up or hide. This is important because you can tell exactly what they are doing by just adding up whatever they are accusing others of doing. Then there is the map delusion. Don't get me wrong Russia has a huge amount of useless land, BUT Russia is not nearly as large relative to other countries as it appears on the map. This is because of the type of projection that is commonly used to transfer the outlines of countries from a sphere onto a plane. There are websites like Real Size, which allow you to superimpose the outlines of one country onto another. Soon as Russia is moved toward the equator it shrivels like a dick in an ice bath. Same thing happens to Canada and Alaska, but they didn't let the false sense of enormity inflate their puddin' heads like Putin did. Russia hates LBGTQand whatever, but all the hottest trannies on the internet are Russian. Go figure. . . . One or two of them even look like a young Vlad (or so I am told ;))

Tesla is the only EV OEM that is making a profit and they have been making such a good profit per unit that they are able to reduce their prices to levels that no other company that makes an acceptable EV can even dream of. That is Tesla's plan. It has always been it's plan. What is the best selling model car (both EV and ICE) in the world? -- Tesla model Y. What is the best selling EV in China? -- Tesla model Y. What is the best selling EV in Europe? Tesla model Y. What is the best selling car of any kind in California? -- Tesla model Y. What is the safes car in a collision? -- Tesla. What car brand has the highest level of owner satisfaction? -- Tesla. What car brand has the highest owner loyalty? Tesla. What car sold in America has the most American content and labor? -- Tesla. What company has the most millionaires working on the assembly lines due to stock options? -- Tesla. There is such a divergence between Tesla and everyone else that most of them are just giving up and trying desperately to get people to believe that it is because EVs are not viable. Nothing could be further from the truth. If you buy anything but a Tesla anywhere in the world it can only be out of ignorance. Companies that were losing 40-200k on every EV they sold (most of them even BYD had to cook the books to show a profit and they are the only other one in the money on each sale, or so they say) cannot afford to lose even more by reducing their prices to give the appearance that they are competitive with Tesla even thought under the hood they are twenty years and two generations of tech behind and will never catch up because Tesla innovates much faster. When Toyota purchased and tore down a model Y they themselves said it was "a masterpiece of engineering" that they were not capable of duplicating. But they are trying to. Toyota is adopting Tesla's manufacturing tech as fast as it can, but they are trying, with no success, but much fantasy used as a delaying tactic. And what will all of Peter's quite dubious conclusions mean when a Tesla robotaxi appears and suddenly an EV is getting 500% more usage than a ICE car?
