  12. She is not radioactive. The US got her via picking her name out of a hat. Literally. Neither the Brits or the US wanted her, but they didn’t want the Soviets to have her. The US Navy got attached to her after seeing it barely get any despite being within a 1,000 yards of two nuclear blasts while dozens of other ships sunk immediately.
