He saved his own life. His escape and evasion skills are amazing.

“The poachers actually hit her with a machete. We think she was trying to protect her mom.” 😞

1:55 Her running as a tiny chic is the cutest thing ever. Thank you, dude. You’re a great man. I gotta take care of every animal I find. They’re so much more entertaining than people.

I’m pretty jealous of this woman. That seems like so much fun to watch them. As a natural herding/guard dog, you know Robin would give his life protecting Teddy from a predator and vice versa (horses can tear your face off with a single well places bite...not to mention kick you to death with one double horsey van damme).

I am not used to that type of behavior with vets. Used to it with all human services.
92
Heartbreaking, but with a happy ending. He is cute. At first sight he looks odd, but within 30 seconds, I saw him as super adorable.
59
lol, yeah, it was cute
56
Lmao. Omg I cracked up at that
36
This dude is a legend. The cat even more so. To think if they had missed each other by 5 mins, she might have died alone, cold and starving. BTW, the cat’s got a passport. So baller.
29
@alexanderchen1049 I mean, I guess. Maybe the OP is both horribly inarticulate and privy to this guy’s personal travel plans. I guess it really doesn’t matter much either as long as Miss Kitty is happy.
26
Let’s be honest. Most guys like cats, but are afraid of homophobic comments.
23
Agreed. Her eyes are uniquely adorable.
23
@theupscriber65 Yeah. I try to limit my meat intake, especially pig, cause of the idea. Above all, I try to get meat that was raised humanely. A high density feed lot is like torture. A free range life where they grow up and eventually are killed humanely is, well, humane.
18
Why would the war keep them from traveling?
17
Love it. Cherokee is the best name. And best model.
16
@hothotheat3000 A shelter was going to put down their own mascot?
15
@tina kapoor Machetes are needed for hacking through the jungle. Besides, they’re easy to make. It’s like saying ban axes or lawn mowers because they can be used to hurt someone.
13
So beautiful, yet so sad. Made me cry. I must be having issues I am not realizing.
13
@peeckle1657 Plenty of affordable places to move with views like that if you do.
11
No one with a heart wants to see any type of animal sad and lonely.
10
@schannel7138 That’s being way too harsh. I doubt there are many or ANY sanctuaries that can have special free range sanctuaries JUST for camels.
10
It’s insane that scientists used to confidently claim that animals don’t have emotions. 🤦♂️

Our cat was gone for six weeks. A cat that just meant so much to us. My dad became more sullen and grouchy the longer time went on. When he finally popped up injured (never could really meow again), but still strong, he was immediately back to his old self. When he died at 18 while I was away at college, it was really devastating. Since then I’ve had more fur babies, including a dog that lived to 22.5. When she went I cried for weeks. Powerful little things they are.
7
The extent of their activities together (with the deer being wild) is amazing.
7
What a lovely garden his grandmother has with that ancient, gorgeous wall.
7
That dragon is so happy. It’s definitely love. He literally smiles. He’s the most affectionate reptile I’ve ever seen.
7
Honestly, we have no idea of the circumstances. It could have been a cruel guy who just didn’t want him anymore. It could have been a guy who wasn’t even the original owner and the duck followed home after being lost or abandoned by the original owner. Etc.
6
Wow, 59 idiots liked this asinine comments. Edit: 75 now.
6
Never heard that before. But it’s good advice. I’d have just said a woman.
6
Donkeys are super protective of the animals and humans around them. It’s a big part of the reason they sometimes show a lot of aggression. I love donkeys.
6
Xena is the best girl. Despite the fact that I see dozens of videos per day of big dogs mothering every species under the sun, it never fails to impress me just how adaptable and in synch with our intentions they are. Not only that, but crazy smart. Xena knows other birds are potential threats and scares them off.
6
Best ears ever, EXCEPT for chiweenie. Her ears were literally bigger than baby Yoda’s. I miss her so much.
6
@branmcg9844 woosh
6
I’ve got two dachshun/basset mixes. They’re about 30 feet long and 2 inches tall. Love them so much along with my chiweenies.
6
They looked like they didn’t want to get their designer boots and jackets dirty.
5
Rather punish/prevent the bad and cherish/encourage the good.
5
Totally. Cat is super cute too. So, that made it even harder.
5
She definitely imprinted on them.
4
You can totally tell it’s a baby from the octave of his calls. He’s super cute.
4
lol, I wanted to be mean when she said she didn’t know how to care for a cat (cause there’s nothing to know...it’s common sense), but she gave him a great home and that’s all that matters.
4
The story is brand new. So, be patient.
4
dangboof Big difference between abandoning a dog and abusing it.
4
@Immad1337 Stoats are actually, like house cats, too successful. They’re listed as invasive species in many countries. So, literally nothing to worry about. Also, The Dodo didn’t show it, but this guy is an animal expert.
4
Overall, stunned by the amount of ignorance displayed in this comments section. None of you on either side did the barest amount of research and tried to act like experts.
4
A minute after the birds were rescued, these neighbors got into a fist fight over CRT and masks.
4
I bet it was an indoor cat that got out. That’s why it had no idea what it was doing, but was in good shape and pretty clean. Gorgeous markings BTW.
4
@aka_neko What region was the hot springs in.
4
@cassandraotroy A few things: A) He has about the same chance as a human of getting hit there because the dog looks both ways (unlike most humans) before crossing and stays in a very right small radius of s couple blocks where here really knows the roads well and traffic patterns (if he weren’t low/harder to see, he’d probably be safer than a human) and his life revolves around crossing safety. B) Second, like many dogs, he has a natural urge to work/be useful and it makes him really happy. If he didn’t do it, he wouldn’t be so beloved and meet so many people. C) in the unlikely even he happens to get clipped and hurt instead of killed, you can be sure he’ll be taken care of quickly.
4
Just rewatched the video and noticed how big he got during the time between his escape and his capture.
4
@edstella Highly doubt it, but releasing it would most likely mean death. First of all, boar are designated “vermin” almost everywhere on the planet and hunted (the US government pays hunters to keep their population down and, sad as it is, rightfully so as they would decimate the ecosystem if unchecked by predators or man). Even if she could learn to be a wild boar, his fondness for humans would likely get her shot immediately by a hunter or animal control.
