  11.  @liborsionko Humans are natural too and part of nature. So, by definition, if we break up a fight, it is also a natural occurrence. Other animals also break up fights both in and outside their species. It is also not uncommon for some species to intentionally protect unrelated species from predators (like humpback whales protecting seals from orca whales).

  15. I love old dog (specifically when their fur goes white and grey). I think they’re cuter than puppies. I love their little (or big) white faces. I’ve had 5 cheweeniee and all of them made it at least 17 years with one making it 22.5 years. I absolutely loved how they look/looked as seniors. Couldn’t resist their little faces.

  26. I have a unique looking chiweenie that sometimes gets similar questions from toddlers, but little kids have no filter and mean no harm. They ask awkward questions like that all the time. It’s not necessarily them being bratty or even mean even if they unintentionally hurt our feelings. I was taking care of my gf’s sister’s 2 year old and he asked someone why they were so fat. He also asked someone why they were so tall. He was too little to understand the world even after I told him people don’t like questions like that.

But even a wild raccoon, as long as it’s given a blood test to check for any contagions + standard pet vaccines is just as safe as any other animal. There’s this mistaken idea many people believe that rabies can just like spontaneously occur in raccoons, bats, foxes, coyotes, etc.

  33. So many (really all) of these crazy shifts in weather have such devastating effects on wildlife (fauna and flora). Really hard to see. Where I live, it is non-stop fires and animals forced down into town to look for water sources.

Horrifying, but nothing to do with the availability of clubs. Anything can be a weapon. Break of a tree limb and you have a deadly weapon. Ban trees!

The only change people need to accept is that meat will be more expensive under practices that aren’t unthinkably cruel and bad for the environment to boot.
